Furthermore, the Henry-Doorly Zoo has the worst, most cramped exhibits for big cats, so it's not like he has anywhere to go anyway! Dogs also wag their tails when agitated or excited negatively, by the way.

I don't understand why parents think it's cute when the kids taunt the animals through the glass. People are always saying how their dog needs to understand that their kid is going to pull their ears and if the dog bites, the dog gets put down or sent away. We go around, hunting things until they're extinct to make jewellery out of 'em and put them in cages to entertain ourselves with (although zoos do help in wildlife preservation and education). I just always figured the reason lions don't have us caged is because they didn't think far enough ahead to develop guns and cages.
