  • I'm 66 and I get 12000 clearly, 13000 just and no more, using standard headphones.

Quite a few years of Fender bark to blame for some of it, plus working in noisy industry.

I take more care now, but its too late. recommend younger viewers take much more care of their ears - ya only get two issued, same as eyes

  • 22000 Hz

  • 24...16,000 Hz.. Years of Marshall amplifiers of course.

  • Max 15kHz for me and I am 20. I guess it comes with the territory of being a musician.

  • 21000 hz.... im over 25.... thats good right??? my hearing is young lol

  • @muzeeka I'm 15 and I can only hear up to 17500 hz... I was the same when I was 13... So I think you're doing pretty good :)

  • 17, I can barely hear 19000 hz and I am always on the computer listening to music with the volume set at 100% lol

  • I'm 99 1/2 and didn't hear a dang word you said sonny!

  • 15: can hear somewhat of 20000Hz

  • It's not working, or at least i can't hear 8000hz.

  • im 14 but can only hear to 15000gz

  • Awesome! I'm 27 and I still could hear all the way to 21kHz and maybe 22kHz not sure (quite uncomfortable tho).

But I had to plug a Motorola/CTS piezo tweeter to hear it all…

How ever I need to find something that can handle down to 20/15Hz…

  • im 15 and i could her 22,000 hz

  • Im 24 and i can hear up to 17000Hz.

  • I'm 11 and I could only hear to 15000Hz! My brother is turning 10 soon and he could hear to 21000Hz.

  • could hear all but the 22k (could barely hear 21k) age:16

  • im 12 and i can only go to 20,000Hz

  • i can hear 800 Hz to 22000 Hz..so it's everything, i'm 14 :D

  • Comment removed

  • 18000 Hz was the highest I could hear. I'm 22.

  • Age 33 18000 Hz.

  • I can hear everything up to 22,000 except for like 20,000. Though, past 18,000, I can hear them, but, they're extremely quiet and difficult to pick up. I take good care of my ears!

  • @NeciFiX2 omg im the same im 28 how old ru ^^

  • @KingStivan I'm 17.

  • @NeciFiX2 ok dont lol too much but was entering my birth date to this website and it told me im 26 xD if i was a woman i would killed some one for these 2 years :P my brother can hear them all but the 18.000 he use`s ipod i use pc headphones thats must be it i bid :P

  • Age 45, 50Hz to 14KHz

  • Comment removed

  • On several other tests, I max out at 19 kHz; on this one at 21 kHz. Didn't think these headphones would go that high; will have to retry with speakers.

  • im 14 and a quarter i can hear everything up to 1700 i cant hear 1800 wtf?

  • 17 20Hz-15000Hz i think i'm going deaf

  • 17 and i can only hear up 1to 16000 but it might be my computer lol

  • now i want to plug my computer into my guitar amp and do 22000Hz, that'll piss off the damn neighbor dogs.

  • 1700 is the only one I can't hear? why is that

  • 19.

With headphones I can hear them all, but with my regular speakers, I cant focus on the sound by itself. LOL Managed to get to 18000 with speakers.

  • 20,000 19. I figured it would be lower, do dB drag competitions.. hmm

  • 17000, 24

  • 22000 im 10 ( i put me near)

  • i can hear 19000 Hz and im 14

  • I'm 16 y.o. guy and i can hear 19000 Hz

  • I can hear from 20 Hz - 21000 Hz

  • im 24 and can hear up to 18,000hz in my left ear but only up to 17,000 in my right!

  • im 18 i can hear 21000hz but then it drops off comp speakers

  • I am a 40 yo woman. I can hear all the frequencies with headphones on. I can faintly hear the top three with the computer speakers but only if the house is absolutely quiet.

  • hi. i'm a 44 y.o. guy and i can hear everything EXCEPT 18 and 19kHz. i can hear all three lows, and the higher (20, 21 and 22 kHz) frequencies. i used a regular ipod earphones, and have to admit that i listen my music with earphones on just about everyday.

  • 25 and i'm hearing 17000, albeit very faintly. When i hit 18000 though i can't hear a thing.

  • I just took your hearing test and I'll be 57, in February. I heard all sounds up to 22,000hz. I'm sick and nauseated and have a migrane as a result. The entire test was probably 1 minute.

  • 17000hz im 18

  • 18000hz im 17

  • 15hz on headphones and 17 000hz on loudspeakers, I'm 32.

  • I'm 20 and with "normal" volume in my headphones I go to 18000. But with my volume in my headphones maxed I can hear all of them. I'm not sure what that means. Oddly enough I have tinnitus, so I expected to be able to hear much worse than I did.

  • I'm 38 I can hear 16000Hz; only 50Hz on the low end.

  • yayz, i can hear dog whistles

  • im 12 and what is this?

  • about to be 16 and with headphones I can hear them all.

  • Comment removed

  • headphones, can hear them all, laptop speakers, I can hear the kind of "pip" sound of the sound initiating on 19/20/22(I think they are) but other than that it's more of a "feel" that the sound is in the air... I'm 29. My almost 5yo was on the other couch and didn't know what I was doing, and it was classic to watch her saying "oooh can you hear that squeaking?" and me acting innocent, changing up n down the frequencies... lol

  • I'm 25 and I can hear it all (i'm listening through my headphones - does it matter?)

  • im 16 years old and I can hear 19000hz

  • im 16 listen to music alot and can hear it all

  • I am 21 and my brother is 23 and we can both hear up to 22

  • I can hear 17 clearly, 19 ok, 21can't hear it anymore but feel uncomfortable.

  • i can only hear up to 17000. but now i still hear ir and it hurts :P oh and im 13....sooo is that bad?

  • I'm 13 and i can only hear to 18 000 if i turn up my speeker

  • Im 17 and i could hear up to 18Hz

rarely 19Hz it goes beeee.....(fade out)

    :(

  • I got 15hz - 17000hz, and I'm 14.

  • Huh. 16000hz is very melodic... I got up to 21000hz, then the next one sounded more like a twittering. I could still hear it, though.

  • 17=18000Hz

  • I can hear 'em all $_$

  • i can hear 50hz to 16000hz and i am 17

  • 28 = 15000

  • I got up to 19000hz XD is that good ?

  • Anyone else got gaps, but can hear above them? I can't hear 13,000 or 20,000 but I can hear above and below both. Then again I am also an exception to the "we can hear frequencies of human speech best" as I have a 70dB hearing loss in the speech frequencies. They also don't sound higher in pitch each time, 11,000 sounds lower than 10k to meand 9k is miles lower than 8k. My ears are crazy!

  • I'm 12 and I could hear 17 000 very well but 18 000 almost not at all XD funny. and at 19 000 I just had a funny feeling in my head XD

  • Dang I'm 12 and got to 17000 0o

  • i'm 29 i can hear everything

  • I am 59 and just came from the a hearing test at the doctors office. Your test works...I can't hear anything over 14000 Hz which is consistant with the doctors office result.

  • hi Jimmyrcom, I took hearing test, I am 66 years old and could only hear 1000Hz but I only used my computer speakers. Will test later with headphones.

enjoy your videos very much, thanks so much for your time.

    God bless you,

    Charlotte

  • I can hear 21000hz and I am 20 years..

  • Man, I don't know if this works well, cause I'm able to hear 22000 HZ from in-built speakers on my Asus laptop (also from my AKG studio headphones).

  • 18 years old, cant hear past 18 hz

  • @thefaketahare neither can i, im 19

  • Just turned 21 - 17k

Also thanks for sharing this, awesome stuff

  • 18k hz for me

  • im 16 and i can hear 19000hz

  • Can I improve my hearing? Is there any exercise?

  • Your ears are one of a kind, you can't do anything to improve the hearing.. You can only make it worse. Unfair =P

  • typical hearing is 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz

I could hear every tone on your page ??? maybe the computer speakers were off a little in the way they play the sounds ? and Oh! I'm 46 years old !

    Hope this helps ?

  • @HitchikerJay42 it depends on the person, the average is around that range, for example im 19 and i could only just hear upto 18000hz

  • I could hear 17,000 comfortably, and 18,000 if I raised my volume a bit, using my iPod headphones. I'm in my mid-20s.

  • interesting....i used to have these really powerful headphones and listen to music like reaaaaaaalllyyy hiiiigh!for a time i thought i had lost my hearing a little!but then i did youre test and i could hear all of them...well 20-22 very low but i could hear them...so maybe im not as deaf as i thought

  • im 16 by the way

  • I'm 13, and I could only hear up to 17.000hz.. That was kinda bad..

  • Naw, I'm only 13 and can hear to 17.000hz unless i turn my volume to around 80%(Headphones) :P

  • lol when I listened to the lowest ones it feels funny and your video started playing while I was listening to the two lowest and your voice went all wavy it was kinda cool also I can hear all the way to 22000 as long as I turn the volume up. ;)

    downloaded the flash to. :D

  • I'm 32, and was able to hear up to 17,000

  • I'm 15 and I can hear everything from the left high frequency sounds, but I can barely hear 16000 and 17000 and 20 and 15

  • I'm 14 and can only hear to 15

  • im 11 and i can still hear 21 for now

  • 44y.o. can hear up to 21hz at normal volume with headphones...but weird thing---I can barely hear 20hz. Maybe I have good ears from all the eavesdropping practice, LOL!!! Good vid.

  • 23 yo - 16 w/ headphones, 15 CPU speakers

  • Im 16 and i can hear up to 21khz, but the weird thing is i can't hear 20khz, but i can hear 21khz. Any reason to that?

  • I'm 18 years old and I can hear up to 19000 khz

  • Hey I'm 19 and I can hear up to 18khz, possibly 19 cuz I can definitely tell there's something there. cool vid man.

  • I'm 17 years of age and i can only hear up to 16000 Hz. I'm actually quite worried how you are 21 and can hear higher. I suppose it is because i go to alot of loud gigs and listen to my iPod almost on the highest volume alot of the time. I can imagain by the time i reach 60 i won't be able to hear anything haha. Oh dear me.

  • I'm 34 and I can hear 17khz and maybe 18khz. I'm a musician who plays drums and guitar. I'm also a sound engineer. For the last 10 years or so Ive cut way down my time listening to headphones which from what I understand causes the most hearing loss even at low volumes. I used to live in loud NYC but moved away when I was 25. No more covering my ears from the screaching trains.

    greetings from Greece

    chiao!!!!!!

  • Im 20.

    Can just barely hear 18000.

  • i cant hear up to 16000

  • i'm 16, i can hear the 19000, but just barely.

  • sorry i've made the test again and i can hear 1900 clarly:)

  • hey! i'm a 22 year girl and i can hear up to 1800 very clearily.I have an ultrasound device for dogs and i hate using it because the noise drives me crazy!! another problem that i have is that i have noises in my ears especially when it's silence around me...is it normal??can you give me an advice? PS: i'm adicted to music and speakers:)

  • I'm 21 and can barely hear 16KHZ...

    Partying, I blame you!

  • I don't know why there's an option for 15Hz on the site, I can't think of any speakers that can even output that low. There may very well be speakers(sub woofers) that do, but definitely not any consumer-level ones.

  • I haven't got headphones but i can hear to about 18khz and i can hear all the low frequencies.

  • I think my hearing sucks - 18 and I can't hear 16000 at ALL.

  • I'm 17 and I hear them all o_O Is that good or bad?

  • That's good. I'm fourteen and I can only hear up to 1700.

    lol yer.

  • I'm 14 and I can hear all the low ones and only up 1900hz for the higher ones.

  • I can hear all of the high frequencies, but none of the low ones. I'm 17 and play guitar.

  • lowest i can hear is 50hz

  • I can hear all frequencies on that page including the low ones (15,20,50hz), For the low frequencys you need a subwoofer. I'm 15 btw.

  • 14 and I can hear up to 18000.

    Is that bad?

  • 18 and i can hear the 18k with sound on max very quietly. I'm a drummer though, so I guess that infuences it?

  • i can hear all but coming to the highest 2 they sounded really soft

    im 15

  • 17yrs old and can hear 22000 and i still listen to subsonic frequencies in my car

  • im 12 and i can hear 22000 woohoo

  • 13 and 17000, lol. can barely hear 50

  • 16 and 22000

  • cant hear 15 and 18000 but can hear the others...

  • i can only hear up to 19000

  • i can hear 18000

  • you cant hear 21000 its impossible for human to hear over 20000

so either you lieing or the test is faulty.

  • im 15 an can hear 20k but my dog didnt get fucked off at any =s

  • haha In electronics class in highschool I made a circuit with a speaker on the end...it made an annoying siren. Being a freshy brat i cranked it as high as I could...controlling the amps making it wail...no idea how high i had it but everyone in the room was freaking cuz their jaws were hurting it was so high but no one could hear it. Good times :P
