I personally like black and white. I like all of the pokemon games. The same pokemon get old, so its good to add some variety to it. You can't say they don't look like pokemon, pokemon don't have a certain look, which is why pokemon is so interesting.

In my opinion, Pokemon Black/White is the best in the series so far because of all the massive gameplay improvements and the amazing story line. However I will admit a lot of the new pokemon look weird and the game is too pixelated.

Alright, I love the game quality and what not. I just wish it was the older Pokemon. But, oh well, eventually, we play it and get use to them. Right? I think GameFreak should make a Pokemon game where you play the regular story in one region, and then after the Pokemon League is defeated, they should have a ferry that can take the player to the other regions, and so you could get a total of 40 Gym badges. They should also include a Battle Frontier, rechallengeable traniers, Gym Leaders, and Pokemon League Members that have stronger Pokemon than last time. They should call the game Pokemon: 20th anniversary, and be released in 2020(:

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the 5th gen pokemon idk what everybody's problem is with them. Every pokemon generation has a few stupid looking pokemon. Remember Machop's sprite in Red/Blue? Looks like road kill. How about Gloom? It also introduced Jinx, what the hell is that thing. Ruby/Sapphire has awful things like Luvdisc. It's stupid to say pokemon is "past it's best," these are still the greatest games there are, each one prompting hours upon hours of enjoyment. Pokemon rocks.

Pokemon was at its best in the Blue, Red and Yellow era and the Gold, Silver and Crystal era. Crystal being the best in the series in my opinion.

Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald are pretty good as are Pearl, Diamond and Platinum but I feel with Black and White the new Pokemon no longer look like Pokemon. I'm sure the era is alright but the series is past its best sadly...

Reason I prefer the second generation era was because of the two regions, Kanto and Johto; why they stopped this in future games I don't know.

I'm getting Pokemon White contrary to my original statement; I asked myself would I still play a new Pokemon game if little had changed, the answer was yes..., the formula is still producing a strong RPG.

@MEDzZ3RO MUCH to generous, The games have lost their originality, in the original sereis the pokemon where based off animals, now they are just colourfull blobs, after emerald the games lost there fun and excitement, the only reason I bought diamond was because it was good graphics. Heartgold and soulsilver where GOOD but not as good as the originals, I love fire red and leafgreem the most, crystal rocked also though

All games eventually lose their reality once sequels have been released. There's only so much they can change. Change the formula too much and it wouldn't be the same franchise.

Heartgold and Soulsilver are every bit as good as the originals, they're essentially the same game with updated graphics and more features; how can they not be better then the originals when in essence they are identical?

But before you read the rest of this go and play gold or silver then play heartgold orsoulsilver, it doesnt feel the same as it did with the old crappy graphics. @Ausjor97 In the game, there's a Vs recorder, which lets you re-watch your battles. He plays people on his ds, using a flash cart (you put games onto it, and it goes in your ds like a game). You can then take the save file from the flash kart and play the game using that file on your computer using an emulator. You use the Vs recorder in that, and use a screen recorder.

There's probably a lot of people asking what you did, so if people could thumbs this up it'd probably be a good idea.

Anyway, drought ninetails is extremely good for a sun team, since it sets up sun that never goes away (unlike sunny day, which only lasts 5 turns). Even if it does nothing else, if it sets up sun then it's done more for your team than one pokemon will tend to do. Having permanent weather up of your choice is a ridiculous advantage.
