  • I have been drinking the Pre-mixed Protein drinks. They are creamy without that protein flavor. EAS or Isopure. You can get them at GNS or Wallmart. Try them out and sip all day.

  • You got some great advice from others here so I'll just add a note about the music in the background. Keep it to almost a whisper so we can hear you clearly.

Keep on keepin' on and look for videos of others and see how they were doing at three or so weeks out. then look at their latest videos. I would recommend watching faithkp. Her videos are great.

  • Don't worry so much about about weight loss every week.. I use to get on the scale about once a month. Nectar Proteins taste great and they mix with milk or water. Go to my videos and see some of the recipes. I have a recipe that taste like Starbucks Frappachino. The chewable vitamins are good for a while. It was months before I tried to swallow a pill! It will come off, trust me! You may have to 'force food' in for a while, but it will change when you find a few things you like!

  • Hey Hurley gurl, I thought it was only me but im at 5 weeks and im at a standstill. thanks for posting this. I have gotten some good suggestions from other youtubers. I feel the same way I must be in starvation mode but it is hard to get food down and my water. I just started back work so I will see how things go with that.

  • the protein gets alittle easier to get down as time passes.. go to some of the websites and they have good recieps.. i am 8 months out and i am just starting to eat so it takes time..are you excersising????

  • Stephanie, I know that it is hard for you, and I have no advice to give, but I do think that even though you are at a stand still that you should not get too disheartened... the surgery was still worth it, and it will work out in the end. Call the hospital in your area... I know our hospital here has a whole area dedicated to nutrition... for diabetics and otherwise... see if they can refer you to someone that can help you out. I think this will be very important! I love you and I have faith!

  • Get chewable calcium citrate. It's flavored so it's not too bad. It's sort of hard to find in stores but you can order if online. I got mine at a great price on eBay, just make sure it's sealed. Also, around my 3rd week I stopped losing for a week, same as you. I started thinking I was the ONLY person in the world that gastric bypass wouldn't work for. So I made sure to increase my protein intake & the 4th week I lost 10 lbs. I really think the water & protein plus exercise is the key.

  • Are you tracking your calories and protein? Make sure that you have at the very least 60g and at least 64 oz of water. Also, if you are interested I can give you vitamin and mineral listing that my nutritionist gave me as well as foods that we should eat. Also, try Jay Robb protein shakes, they taste great. You can find them online and at Kroger. You are definately in starvation mode. Do you have a nutritionist? If you do please call them. I think its important. Dont want you to get sick

  • @jwu61281 yes i could really use that listing! i did not have much nutrition courses because in michigan the law is different and you dont have to take all the classes to get approved for the surgery which is really messing me up now.

  • @TheHurleyGurl Ibox me your email address. We definately shouldnt be taking whole pills - only liquids or chewables. My nutritionist told me no gummies either (I've heard a lot of people say they take gummies so I asked that specific question).
