Iranian? With a name like Ramin Djawadi, it sounds more Indian. Listening to his soundtrack, he could be the next John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith or any other composer that has made a name for himself composing music scores for motion pictures.
Why the bad mouth? Grow up!! I'm not saying he will be the next John Williams or whoever, I'm just saying he MIGHT be. I never heard of Hans Zimmer. I might want to look into some lesser known composers since you brought that name up. Speaking of composers, whatever happened to Jan Hammer (Miami Vice)?
Lesser known composers - Hans Zimmer? Hmm, you're a bit out of touch with the film music world - Hans Zimmer's one of the most popular and well-known composers at the moment. His best-known works are The Lion King, Gladiator and Pirates of the Caribbean.
He runs a large studio of composers (including Ramin Djawadi), who either help Zimmer or compose their own scores. Many fail to gain their own style, preferring instead to copy Zimmer's. Transformers composer Steve Jablonsky is an example.
i was one of the musicians that worked on this movie. if you listen really carefully to the strings in this song you can hear me. i'm the only cello playing for like 5+ seconds
ooooooooooooooooooooooo my fucking god! the intro is soooooooo fucking long but i do have orgasm in the end

Really. You think this guy, just one of dozens of anonymous Hans Zimmer rip-offs, is going to match John Williams and Jerry Goldsmith?
Thanks. You gave me a good laugh.

Ramin is a hugely gifted composer. He and Klaus Badelt wrote the music to our movie, Beat the Drum in 2003.
