Lesser known composers - Hans Zimmer? Hmm, you're a bit out of touch with the film music world - Hans Zimmer's one of the most popular and well-known composers at the moment. His best-known works are The Lion King, Gladiator and Pirates of the Caribbean.

He runs a large studio of composers (including Ramin Djawadi), who either help Zimmer or compose their own scores. Many fail to gain their own style, preferring instead to copy Zimmer's. Transformers composer Steve Jablonsky is an example.

Ramin is a hugely gifted composer. He and Klaus Badelt wrote the music to our movie, Beat the Drum in 2003.
