  • 8 years and on pointe?

  • @BOBbob123456789019 Yes, wy not?

  • She is very beautiful. You have got to be wonderful teachers. Would you please help me with something? See, I have been working a lot in getting a high arabesque and developpe but it's still hard. Any tips you might have to get it higher? your students have beautiful arabesques. thank you :)

  • how many hours a day does she train? she is going to be amazing, i can't wait to see her when she's older!

  • @balletlover157 3-4 hours per day 6 days per week

  • Congrats, teachers! You have made an awesome job!

  • beautiful! what will be her next variation? thank you very very much :)

  • @MiLoveCats Corsair

  • Bravo to Lada's teacher; Lada is obviously very gifted, but she is very fortunate that you saw her and agreed to train her, without a wonderful teacher like you her talent would be wasted:)

  • @ralucagymnast Thank you very much for your so good words about our work!

  • Bravo! Simply incredibly beautiful. Lada is incredible; its useless to compare her to other girls as she is unique.

  • @balletwiz214 2,5 years

  • what is the step called at 1:39?

  • @JustBecauseCause Tours degagee

  • How do you decide who should play a certain role? Do your students audition, or do you pick them just regularly by who you naturally know can deliver the role. Like Lada; did she have to audition, or did you pick her to dance Odette/Odile by watching her in her classes, etc.? Please, please answer me!

  • @KatrinaAnn9 Lada danced this performance with - 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - just 4 rehearsals. This video - 4 rehearsals befor, beleave me! I'm her teacher. This performance our Regina had to dance (16 years old), but her partner, Prince, had a performance at the same day, unexpectedly. So - Lada did it, suddenly!)))

  • It's really great!

    Looks fantastic...!

But...she's a child! I'm not sure that it's fun for her to practise so much...

  • @MrsFakedSmile Please be sure - she loves ballet, and she understands that she need to practise to be better and better on the stage

  • @petrovasuper i´m sure she loves ballet and i´m sure she understands. but of course, a child´s opinions, believes and feelings are highly result and reflection from her upbringing and how she´s socialized. i believe in about 10 or more years she´s ready to make her very own decisions on life

  • @RussianBalletFan22 Of course, but Lada is a very clever girl, and she realy loves ballet! Beleave me

  • @petrovasuper

:) I have got huge respect for this!

If it's her dream, I'm happy that she's able to live it.

    Just the best for her!

  • @MrsFakedSmile Thank you!

  • ....... speachless

  • 1:36 Tinkerbell moment

  • @xXPurpleLoliTranceXx What do you mean, excuse me?

  • @petrovasuper It makes me think of Tinkerbell

  • is victoria fedorova here?? is she the swans and tell lada i hope to see her in yagp

  • @cursive700 Yes, Vika is here in swans

  • He is so much taller than her. It looks like Odile is a child and Siegfried is an adult...

  • @katastrofa630 Now - may be yes, but she will grow up, and very soon, and will be very good ballerina by that time

  • very pretty, I don't know what I can say for discribe she !! (sorry I'm not english so I not very good)

  • 8 years and beautiful divine arms

  • Absolutely beautiful.......

  • she just makes every movement so beautiful!

  • wow! this must be the world's first swan lake done with such young children!

  • очень хороший валет - я их люблю!

  • Lada is absolutely incredible! Her technique is near flawless and her musicality is just beautiful. So amazing for an 8 year old. I see her as the next Lopatkina or Samova!

  • better to push arch out !! well done

  • OMG elle est tellement forte pour seulement 8 ans !!!!

    BRAVO

  • OMG! I don't' belive!

  • Лада прекрасная балеринка!! В будущем она будет примой! Если она еще поработает над подъемчиком, будет идеально.

  • @petrovasuper Mme Petrova! Congratulations on Lada's achievement in the YAGP! I would love to see her achieve even greater heights and I know that with teachers like you and Mr Kuramshin it will be as so! Отлично!

  • @TheSparkleSparkle Thank you very much! Спасибо!

  • Omg! she dances better then me! and I am 8 years old and proffecional ballerina

  • Omg! she dances better then me! and I am 8 years old and proffecional ballerina thumb up if you agree

  • 4:25. I saw a real swan fly past.

  • She's incredible! She will be one of the greatest ballet dancers when she grows up/gets to my age of 15! It is like wow, Wow,WOW!

  • those russians.... they're good at EVERYTHING!

  • GENTE ESSA MENINA É SURPREENDENTE, ESPERO QUE ELA DÊ CONTINUIDADE A ESSA LINDA CARREIRA QUE AGURADA POR ELA!!! FOFA, MARAVILHOSA, MEIGA

  • She's very good. She needs to watch her position with attitude derriere.

  • i am 12 and have just started pointe work it's so physically demanding she is AMAZING

  • Wow, 8 years old and already a principal dancer! Go Lada!

  • Lada is a great inspiration for many young girls. She even inspires me

  • she is a beautiful dancer and technically she is completely able to dance the role..... however no eight-year-old is emotionally experienced enough to portray odette or odile, however brilliant they are. they are incredibly complex characters that can only be understood with age... in my opinion.

  • @cigtt I agree completely. She doesn't have the artistic expression yet, even though her technique is wonderful. I'm sure that will come with maturity. She looks a little worried about messing up the whole way through this.... I hope she gets the chance to develop emotionally as a dancer, then she will really be a star.

  • Lada is great, but the boy have to work with ballerinas, which are old like he.

  • @VercaBallet Wy?

  • @petrovasuper your student is amazing! just 8 years old wow.. great job to both her and you (:

  • @lumalumaday This is not a joyfull role and not a joyfull variation! This is a mood of the role of a princess-girl how became a swan!

  • @petrovasuper Just a question - how many classes a week does lada have and how long did it take her to get onto pointe? She is really really good!!

  • Gelsey Kirkland, Darcey Bussell, Maya Plisetskaya, Sylvie Guillem, Margot Fonteyn, Alicia Alonso. Someday Lada will be listed with them as a ballet great :)

  • @RainingSilence Thank you! I'm her teacher - it so great to hear it about my student!

  • that is just amazing... almost made me cry!!

  • makes me wish i lived in russia and had done dance training there since i was little. I started when i was 3 but you dont seem to progress so quickly in england :( i mean this little girl is 7 years younger than me and her pointe work is amazing !! basically.... i wish i was her <3 xx

  • Maybe let her compete in YAGP? Some compete in it at age 8. Perhaps look up some of the choreography created for Alicia Markova when she was the youngest member of the Ballets Russes at 11...or the Bluebird Variation...or maybe that Giselle peasant variation that would give her a chance to show her turning ability.

  • @periodictable47 She will dance Pas-de-Deux this year on YAGP.

  • She is unique and truly amazing! I do wonder, though, about this trend of having younger and younger children cope with choreography created for extensively trained adults. This is something that's only been happening the last few years, and we don't know what the physical impact is going to be.

  • @periodictable47 The time goes forward - children now can do the things we cannot to do when we was much older. So - way we have to keep them on the place? Go forward, talants!

  • When did Lada start ballet?

  • @7agplace7 At 4,5

  • Lada Sartakova. We'll hear this name many times from now. =)

  • she is absolutely fabulous at everything she does. i just hope she doesn't get burnt out.

  • Wow she's truly amazing! She will be soo good when she's older, but i dont think younger dancers who do variations a lead roles, really understand how to portray the emotions, not just with dance moves but facial expressions too

  • @FD02Ballet Thank you

  • I love Lada sartakova she is a perfect dancer I noticed that she gets lead roles in everything. I am a really BIG fan of Lada. Keep up the good work =)

  • This kid (Lada) is awesome....Please tell her she now has a fan from Venezuela!

  • Wow, so elegant and beautiful and such a young age !!! I love it.

  • Tatiana... this is beautiful.... Lada is awsome!! so nice all movements.... congratulations to you Tatiana and Vladislav and of course to Lada..... say hi to all the girls from us!

  • @MarcelaCoelloGilbert Thank you very much, from us and from Lada

  • So very moving to see this extraordinarily gifted child. You are a very special dancer, Lada! God bless you!! :-)

  • Lada is awesome, I hope to visit Russia one day and see this child!

Could you pass this message to Lada: You're great, wonderful, you dance really well, I love your facial expression ... you are my star! I am 12 years old, you dance better than me, for you pointes are super easy (although it's hard!) and you interpret a very difficult role. CONTINUES, YOU WILL BE THE BEST !

Thank you in advance Congratulations for you teachers! Svetlanadanse

  • An amazing technically perfect executed rendition of this wonderful variation. An emotional performance from one so young. Vlad compliments Lada beautifully.

  • In all my years of going to Balanchine school recitals in New York City i saw a very few very rare prodigies. Gelsey Kirkland was one. Lada Sartakova will be among the elite ballerinas of the future, a true star. I watch her expression when she first sees Siegfried and I said, here is a young girl who dances not because it's pretty and every girl dreams of being a ballerina, but because she must, because it is her God given calling in life. Bravo! Lada, you are unique. Bravo to her teachers also

  • @Leonnidik O, thank you very much!

  • How many Pointe shoes does Lada typicality go through during a month? I Know in NYC Ballet the go through like, a pair a day..

  • @mrsturkeyboobs Lada wear one pair for a half of a year

  • @petrovasuper

what brand of pointe shoes lada wears?

  • @KPCcovers Grishko

  • @petrovasuper

    thank you!

  • that was just beautiful !! Lada is such an amazing dancer - gave me chills watching her !!! you must be an awesome teacher to get students dancing like that! :D

  • This is my favorite ballet variation and she did fabulous. When I was 8, ha ha there is no way I could have done that variation!

  • insanely amazing....no words! :D

  • lada is fast becoming my favourite ballerina even though she is only 8

  • Lada is truly the most amazing dancer of her age I have ever seen!

  • Lada is..............wow!! Congrats!

  • LOVELY LOVELY PERFORMANCE :) ♥

  • did ksenia perform in this show?

  • @jovidancefreak No, Ksenia never did it
