That's the base of minimal pop, which is what this is.
It is hypnotic, ethereal, & layered with much going into the texture..
It is not supposed to be progressive like KC, Dream Theater, Yes, Genesis etc..
It is exploratory in its own way though.
I will listen to say Larks Tongue In Aspic II for the changes & Bruford & Muir playing off
of each other.
These guys create an entirely different listening experience just as fun for me.
