Thanks for this I have been looking for ages and tried loads of techniques that didn't work, this is definitely the best way to add linked tabs to your navigation.
@jacqpinks I'm glad it helped you. Make sure you exclude the page from you google xml sitemap--or else you'll have an error message in your google webmasters sitemap submission
