  • Yeah these guys were awful I first saw this on Michael Moores film Capatalism a love story. These guys just wanted to get kids busted for anything possible and throw their right out the windows. They also wanted to keep them in there for at least a year it was using kids for profit simple as that the cases were also terrible minor nothing like smoking a cigarette etc..

  • what your missing is the point that these kids were criminals. Sure the judges shouldn't have gotten kickbacks but I commend them on finally giving these littel turds some time!

  • @Imsmartyourdumb Haha! Are you trolling every one of these videos?

So now the kids deserve to go to prison? Ok, well one of the kids went to prison for mocking an assistant principle over the internet. Is that justice? Yes? Well you just called an entire group of people "turds" over the net, how many years should you get? 1? 3? What sounds fair?

    Obvious bitter hypocrite is obvious.

    P.S. GET OFF MEH LAWN!!!!!!!!

  • YES, LIFE IN PRISON, NO POSSIBILITY OF PAROLE. BUT, WANT TO BET, MINIMUM SENTENCE AS THEY ARE PROBABLY SEEN AS RIGHT WING CONSERVATIVES, DOING “THE LORD’S WORK.”

  • The biggest player in the for-profit detention racket is Vanguard. The biggest shareholder in Vanguard is Dick Cheney. Anyone here surprised by this fact? I'm not.

  • I believe this story was covered in Michael Moore's documentary Capitalism: A Love Story. I'm of course skeptical of some things Moore does, but he (and other documentarians) does discuss some important topics that the mainstream media utterly fails to cover. It's a pity that the quality of the newsmedia in the US is so abysmal thanks to the Telecommunications Act.

  • I could not have said it better myself. Thank you.

  • What I find amazing is the lack of coverage on the media's part. The media will harp on for days about the nonsense of a Paris Hilton or Charley Sheen, but something that truly affects the people.. barely a peep. Furthermore, who's prosecuting the Private prisons that actually bribed the judges? Infowars.com... for truth and news you won't get by the national media.

  • They should have all of their assets frozen, and given LIFE sentences for detroying the faith of the public.

  • We can't bring back the lives of children destroyed by these Judges but Punitive measures do not work to prevent such crimes nor is prison rehabilitative from my experience

  • As a fellow victim & activist, I find NO benefit to society or these Judges by putting them in prison. Seize their income/assets/pensions & allow them to SERVE as true public servants in a homeless shelter or food pantry so they SEE & FEEL human sufferage. This saves taxpayer dollars & provides them a real opportunity to be public servants. Why attack me for this view?

    .

  • thepetitionsite com slash 1 slash familycourtinvestigation

help fight this corruption and sign this petition please

  • Thats what people get when they privitize prisons. Ha Ha Ha

  • This problem is wide spread. Many people in Muskogee Oklahoma are asking if the local Judges are taking kickbacks from Bail Bondsmen. Muskogee County has one of the highest Bail Bonds assignments in U.S. history.

  • @InjusticeTVChannel Corruption on the part of judges is, in my opinion, the most troubling. If judges can't be trusted the whole justice system fails. Any judge convicted of corruption should get the max.

  • @FantasticBabblings In regards to your video, Corrupt Judges Abuse Children for Money & Get Off Easy . My question is... why children and how are they treated in juvenile detention ?

  • @sciencevsreligion01 Children because the privately owned youth detention centers were the ones paying them off. Also children are more vulnerable in PA because they can easily waive right to counsel. Some states require that juveniles have counsel when appearing before judges. About half of PA juvenile defendants waive representation. The motive appears to be simple greed and opportunity.

As for treatment I haven't read anything, but even if treated well, wrongful detention can be traumatic.

  • @FantasticBabblings It also sounds like there could be other motives involved.

  • I hope other communities around the country will learn from this.

  • We are all being lead by people being manipulated by people trying to gain acceptance from people being manipulated by people trying to gain acceptance, when in fact the ring in our nose be it gold or not the pain is real till we don't allow the push for control anymore watching our brethren cry stop killing our kids or anyone for having sex, sex is not the end of life in fact it's necessary too continue our existence.

  • I agree. Judges should be prosecuted for committing crimes. Judges should go to jail if convicted. I have posted a video response. The biggest problem with America is judicial corruption. I'm active to reform the justice system. I was railroaded to prison, losing my home, my family, everything just for proposing legislation to elected officials to reform the court system and address police misconduct. google Steven G. Erickson

  • This is giving a bad rep to all of PA. I should know. I live in the county right near Luzern.

  • i would say let the kids beat the shit out of the two judges and then hang those judges for treason agianst unitedstates citizens dont waste our tax paying dollars on those peices of shit human beings ! and also this is going on in nashville with corrupt judges in juvie courts here also they just aint got caught yet! i say everyone should be accountable for there actions no matter cop or civilian to surprem court judges no body rides on a coat tail

  • These are just 2 of the officials among many arrested this year for public corruption in Luzerne County. I follow the FBI Press releases.

  • WHAT ABOUT ALL THE PPL WHO WERE IN FRONT OF CIAVERALLA B4 2003?

you cannot honestly tell me he said to himself, oh its 2003 time to start making money off kids.. i mean it took planning to comit these hainous atrocities. what about us?

  • @dmellow45 They should re-open all of his cases and examine them. Corruption doesn't start all of a sudden.

  • @dmellow45 All the more reason this man needs sentencing and life in prison. I would give him that on pre-meditation alone. There already one suicide BTW by an a teenage boy all star wrestler who just happen to be caught up in moment of teenage indescretion. I felt horrible seeing his mother all angry and bitter when she confronted the judge outside of the courthouse. Hopefully this judge will receive such a harsh sentence that she can find a little solace in life.

  • The judges should keep their butts well buttered. 7 years is a long time to get corn-holed in prison.

  • thank you for helping to expose human cruelty and abuse in the name of money

Equal money for all will end the fight for survival and remove the purpose of such acts of self interested abuse

  • equal money for all.. isnt that kinda comunistic in a sense?

  • search youtube for equal money...

  • hey Matt.

    Reptilian slut.

  • I just took a print screen out of your face.

If you spread more of STATIC FINITE ILL PSYCHOLOGY i will play VOODOO on you.

I have my eyes on you lizard motherfuckers.

    Don't push it.

  • That's PA for you. I can't even begin to tell you how messed up the system is in the state.

  • This isn't happening just in PA. Judges ae no more than Attorneys politically appointed and approved. Do attorneys have integrity? do politicians have integrity? Then why would anyone think a Judge has Integrity?

  • I agree. If judges don't treat us decently, why should we respect them?

  • Why do we only hear about the judges? How about the ass holes from the detention center that handed over the bribes?

  • free speech dame right keep it going phil . the goverment is out of contol . and to me like hollywood in make belive land at time on whats right and wrong . great job one way or another you are an inportant man

  • These scumbag judges shouldn't get 3 years in prison, but instead forced to serve each and every day day of the time they imposed on these innocently convicted children. The consecutive 90 day sentences should keep these disgusting "judges" in prison for many lifetimes. Throw away the key!

  • When they go to prison, they should be put in the general population. Then it should be circulated that they are judges, and that they abused children. Even if they only serve three years they will think it was thirty - IF they live three years.

  • Just the tip of the iceberg. How many kids are on the sexoffenders registers for life, only because they where in love and underage? 5 stars.

  • glad to see your concern is now somehwat resolved, with the recent overturning of the cases..

  • "Ciavarella, in the most cynical fashion, assured that there would be ample juveniles adjudicated delinquent and placed in PA Child Care," one of the suits said. "As juvenile judge, he ignored law, ignored the constitution, and ignored basic human decency. He provided quick 'justice,' adjudicated children delinquent and ripped them from their parents in record time and in astonishing numbers."

  • went to prison for 90 days because one kid got a black eye? lol, should have gone to my school! shit, 20 minutes there youll come out looking as though you spent 90 months in prison! lol, it was rough...

today, people find it hard to define boundaries, to not only what children can do or say,but as to how adults can react to these actions and what they can and cannot do, and i dont see why!!!

operate on one policy only, 'No Bullshit.'

  • right on

  • This is so disgusting. I used to explore vacant buildings, that could have been me. And as for the girl who made the myspace, it's freedom of speech. That applies to teens just as much as it does adults. I agree with you that these judges should be charged for more than just fraud. It goes to show that the government only cares about money and not the well being and rights of citizens.

  • Id proberbly consider killing them if i was on of the kids. What horrible human beings i hope there live sturns to a barren and hopless wasteland.

  • Thanks for sharing this, Phil. What an outrage!

  • This is why we need organizations like The Innocence Project. Thanks for bringing this story to peoples' attention, Phil!

  • Holy motherfucking shit.

    *speechless and beyond horrified*

  • There's no end to the damned atrocities....

  • Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting!

Considering the numbers of children sentenced, I am inclined to agree with you that they should serve life sentences.

  • Those judges are despicable.

  • Phil, I'm so sorry to have missed this video the other day and glad to have seen it now. I must agree with all your points. I learned of the story on NPR and probably Rachel or Keith on MSNBC but you actually broke it down into more clearly definitive terms. Well done. And thanks for all the names - letters will be written.

  • I am outraged as well... and a little afraid... of that hat.

  • I agree. A life sentence is appropriate here. There is no excuse they can give for doing this, since they are judges. Money IS the root of all evil. What is wrong with people these days! Everyone is going crazy. The ramifications are extreme to the children, as you mentioned. Good vid!!!!!!!

  • well done, F.B

  • I know longer consider the goverment legitament, along with our injustice system.

  • Wow, that really is pretty outrageous! I'm surprised this is the first I've heard of it.

  • this is the first i have heard about this. my god, i can't believe that something so corrupt lasted so long as even 10 cases, much less, up to 5000! these judges do not deserve mercy in the least.

  • The judges need to go to prison for a long time. The took a dump on the legal system. They are a danger to everyone. I hope the families sue.

  • Those judges are corrupt and should be disbarred permanently. They cannot be trusted ever again in their decisions.

  • I agree it should be life. The argument you always hear for judicial immunity (from civil liability) is that there are criminal consequences to judicial misconduct. The MySpace one is particularly egregious. There is not even a colorable jurisdiction in that case. The problem is, if a stupid, rather than corrupt, judge did the same thing (sentenced for making fun), it's unlikely anything at all would be done besides MAYBE release on habeas corpus, etc.

  • The judges and private prison companies should be forced to pay back the cost of imprisoning these children and cleaning up this mess, while being sent to prison for an amount of time equal to the sum of every false incarceration they ordered, not a day less.

They should also pay the children for the pain and suffering of being falsely imprisoned.

Finally, anyone who had high level knowledge of this should be permanently banned from working with/for the public service.

    Seems fair to me.

  • Sick fucking bastards. I wish there was a hell to send these fuckers to.

  • Thank you for making this. This is despicable.

  • everybody rate 5 stars and favorite this video. People have to know this. Everybody has to know about this injustice.

  • This is awful. Thanks so much for bringing this to my attention.

  • 90 days in prison for a fucking fight? You fucking serious.

  • Agree, the judges should get life, but please dont pull the child card. We dont know that the crimes werent commensurate w/ the charges. For instance, the posting on my space may have been threatening, violent, etc. I dont believe children are exempt from any crimes simply because they arent 18 yet. The judges, and the system however are outrageous even if their behavior was toward adults.

  • Wow....

  • Thanks so much for bringing this to my attention Phil! It is complete crap that these two who have done such harm should get off so easily! Blessings, Grams

  • No need to worry about them getting out in 3 years. In the Federal criminal system there is no parole. They will serve the full term of whatever they are sentenced to.

  • Greed.

  • What an outrage! Actually, I see kids at work sometimes who everyone wonders why they were ordered into psychiatric care. Some parents just shuffle their kids off because they don't want to be bothered with parenting them.

  • That is disgusting. So much for the independence of the judicial Branch!

  • I wonder if the parents will file civil suits against these Judges or the state.

That aside, it's appalling the damage they have done to these kids. As a parent I can't even imaging allowing this to happen to my children. I hope these kids get the help they so deserve after this traumatizing event in their life

  • That is a disgrace.

  • that story is so disgusting . those poor kids

  • I gave and received many black eyes as a kid... a few as an adult... If I had gone to jail for 90 days every time I might be a convict now...

Does it seem to you, as it does to me, that the very fabric of society is so torn that nothing unreasonable is unexpected....

  • I think those judges should get 15-20 years no parole , and give back 2.6 million to charities that involve children, and if they cannot come up with the 2.6 million cause of money spent , they spend the rest of their days in prison with no parole. Good post Phil !!

  • Thank you for making this post FB.

  • appalling and not surprising the story was buried.

  • >> until a hearing and locked up in a place where he was hit and endured many mental and physical things. Then it cost me thousands of dollars to get him out and he was on probation for 3 years along with a whole summer of community service. I agree with you they need to BE MADE AN EXAMPLE out of just like they told me they were doing with my child, who mind you is scared for life and has had to do a lot of work to overcome the reprocussions of what they did to him in that place! HUGS xoxoox

  • Being from that area and having seen this going on in PA in more places than just these two judges. I have seen a child in my town go to juvie for getting caught smoking a cig. As a matter of a fact my son (older son, Aaron who is now 20) got into a scuff with another over some foul things that the other child spouted about my daughter and myself. He was never in ANY trouble before and he did not strike the other child first. He was taken from my home arrested and sent away for a week >>

  • inFREAKn sane! excellent video.

  • i cannot express how great it is that focus on this subject, phil. I agree a 100 %. Why dont ALL the american media burst out in an outcry of injustice??

(but i think they will eventually)

If i were american i would do anything to help in spreading this in the USA.

But what i can do is favorite it, rate it 5 stars and thereby i hope this video will get some honors so that more people will be informed about this case.

  • And yet the Wall Street pirates get a tax funded

bonus! Oh excuse me, retention award.

    Bizarro justice!

I agree! Lock 'em up! Should be lots of room after

you let the pot smokers go.

  • It could well be argued that they deserve life sentences. In any case, 7 or so years for wire/mail fraud just re-enforces the stereotype that the judiciary isn't impartial, isn't working for the people that depend on it and is downright negligent/corrupt.

    Peace Phil; good video, there.

  • when I read about this, I was stunned.....stunned, my mind was racing as to how these judges should be punished, everything I came up with was just not enough. The thousands of lives effected, the mistrust of our court system, it's endless. These judges should at least be tarred & feathered when brought to court for their hearings. This is an American tragedy! It's horrible....just horrible.

  • Thousands of kids' lives ruined, just for 2.6 million dollars? And these judges don't even care, and why should they? They are hardly going to get a slap on the wrist for it. Our government is long past corrupt I'm afraid.

  • Since I heard of this story, I haven't understood how these judges could sleep at night knowing they sent kids to jail for money. What a down right shame.

Private prisons are not the way to go. Especially if they can afford kick backs. :/

  • So much for justice and due process in the state of Pennsylvania.

  • Fuckers, I hope for the worst for them. Why the kids?

  • Oh my! How far down the rabbit hole do you want to go? You think you are steamed now? Children are the most oppressed people on the planet and you are now witnessing the tip of an iceberg. There are more judges in cahoots with "kickbacks" then you want to know.

  • Five Stars!!

  • agree

  • It's people like that that make me wish there really was a Hell.

  • Oh lord between abusing cats and this wow hope there is justice with this!

hugs xo ps i love your hat! ;)

  • I completely agree. I remember being a kid and always being afraid of going to jail for the smallest infractions. It's stressful enough to push someone over the edge.

I agree that the only way justice is served in this case would be to provide counciling to the children who were harmed by this, and to send these criminals to jail for the rest of their lives. Make an example of them. I very rarely feel that way about something. I don't think punishing as example is right in all cases. But...

  • ... please tell me there will be a criminal investigation into these privately owned prisons as well.

  • I completely agree with you. Tyrants shouldn't be treated like war criminals, but like tyrants. And I sure hope Kenny Glenn doesn't get a judge like this at his trial.

  • I've had a black eye or two in my day and all that happened was my mom talked to his mom and that was that! WE'RE GOING TO HELL IN A HANDBAG!! I just hope it matches my shoes!!

  • lulz, zip took the words right out of my mouth.

Screw the judges, screw the law, love thy neighbor and wear your handbag tight, that's what I say.

  • I think these two judges need to be sent to prison for 90 days for each case!

  • they should get a life sentence at max and get kick out of being judges

the company could and should be sued

    also nice hat
