I'm having trouble with this thing. if i try to download a video from another site and if it plays a bit then stops to load some more. download helper can not download the video. the twirling balloon things at the top of the browser turn grey and no longer work. they will only download a video that plays all the way through. if it stops even for a second playing all the way through download helper can not download it...what do i do ?

response to your answer about the registration key: where do i find the WinFF program? is it part of the download helper or is that a separate program?

Hello. I just downloaded it, and I did what you did. I use Winamp as my multimedia file player. It automatically downloads the files to be used on winamp, but whenever I try to play them on winamp, they won't play at all. Thanks if you can help me.

@johnnynoirman Hi just read your message about download helper. I would suggest updating firefox to the latest version or if you're using Linux make sure you have installed the latest updates. I'd also suggest updating download helper to the latest version which as I write is 4.8

IT IS SO SAD that this will not download youtubes MPG4 MPG3 formats anymore! huhuhu , i wont be able to download videos from celebs anymore! perhaps, they have been blocked, thus , only FLV. or flash videos will be able to download.

@TheJerS if u want to download video downloadhelper or any other add ons, just go to firefox.com.. and search there "video downloadhelper". dont forget to categorize it as add ons when searching .

(PROCEDURE): download FLV file first then install a converter into ur computer , convert the FLV file to MP4 ! this time , uL wait long hours for the file to be converted . that' why , it sucks .. long hours for a file to become MP4 ! if DOWNLOADHELPER didnt change , maybe just one click , ul be able to download MP4 fast ,easily , and instantly !

You can use the program WinFF to extract the audio from the video as an mp3 file. Its in the add/remove section under applications.
