No, Mineta did not find out that there was one. At around 2:18 he says, "What I thought of was that they had made the decision to shoot something down." However, between 2:00 and 2:05 Mineta agrees that he later found out that "that was not the case." Listen carefully to those two clips and hear for yourself.

First off, transwired, let's talk civily to one another. Name calling is a non sequetor and it prevents both sides from engaging rationally with one another. There is a dispute as to whether the Pentagon crashed at 9:37. There are reports that say it crashed at 9:43. But flight 93 did not crash until after 10am. Mineta heard the "Sir it's 10 miles out" at 9:40. So isn't it more likely that he is referring to flight 77?
F93 crashed at 10:06, there is no record that proves that Mineta overheard Dick's conversation at 9:40, where does it say that? Give me the source. Let's think logically here. Mineta walks into PEOC at 9:35, lets assume that the plane is 50 miles out from Pentagon, at low altitude plane travels 12 seconds per mile, so that is 12 x 50 = 600 seconds or 10 minutes, that would be 9:45 (not 9:37) very very unlikely.
There is some ambiguity here, I must admit. But it is more likely, given the times the two planes crshed (77 and 93) that mineta was referring to flight 77. But there are so many more pieces of evidence suggesting inside job. Read 911 Timeline dot org, which tells you what happened when and analizes the problems with the 911 story.

There is no point in talking to you. Mineta said Flight 77, he was confused, it was Flight 93. One simple confusion causes such a spin, because yes it makes a big difference whether it was F77 or F93.
Mineta never corrected himself to say it was 93 and not 77. Your argument should be based on the ambiguity of your opponent. It should be "We don't know if he was referring to 77, therefore we can't rush to judgment," for we certainly can't prove he was referringto flight 93.

Any one with critical thinking skills can see that there a NO SHOOT DOWN ORDER. Mineta testified that he heard a young man tell VP DC the plane(or missle) was 50 miles out, 40, 30,20, 10 miles out, does the order still stand?The VP replied of course the order stand - have you head any thing to the contrary? If there had been a shoot down order, then the Pentagon would not have been hit. He also said fighter jets were scramble from Langley and ten minutes away. Andrew AFB was the clear choice.

Regardless of a shoot down order or no shoot down order. This shows DEFINITIVELY that they knew a plane was headed for the Pentagon and DID NOT sound any fire alarms or give warnings on the intercom, so the building could be evacuated.

No, Mineta did not find out that there was one. At around 2:18 he says, "What I thought of was that they had made the decision to shoot something down." However, between 2:00 and 2:05 Mineta agrees that he later found out that "that was not the case." Listen carefully to those two clips and hear for yourself.

Just because he doesn't recite a time in terms of "something, O' clock" doesn't mean Cheney didn't give a specific time. Cheney indicated very clearly he was in the PEOC BEFORE the aircraft crashed into the Pentagon . Guess what? The time is known when the aircraft crashed into the Pentagon. Flight 77 crashed into the Petagon at 9:37. So, Cheney was in the PEOC prior to 9:37 giving orders. Do I need to find the exact words?

I like the part where he says he was "not sure about the 9:25", i.e. what time he got to the PEOC, which undermines the notion that his testimony puts the VP there before the 9/11 Commission said Cheney arrived. Mineta said a) the WH was being evacuated when he arrived and by all accounts that didn't happen till after 9:32 and b) he spoke to Richard Clarke before going to the bunker.

Transwired, you are so full of it. WATCH THE VIDEO titled. 911 Commission - Trans. Sec Norman Mineta Testimony.. Its on youtube. Within 1 minute and 20 seconds Lee Hamilton and Norm Mineta clearly state it was the plane the hit the Pentagon. I don't think Shanksville PA is 10 miles from DC or do you know something that I don't know?

Yes, did you watch it?? you can clearly hear him saying the truth between 1:45 and 2:00 "Then I found out that the planes (fighters) are still 10 minutes away from D.C. and this is when we heard about the plane crashing in Shanskville." Clearly, he was confused between flight77 and 93.

Mineta was talking about Flight 93 (Shanksville Crash) - in the testimony he was confused and he referred to Flight 77 (but it never was) it was always about Flight 93. So Cheney was referring to Flight 93 (do the orders still stand?) - They were planning to shoot down Flight 93 (NEVER Flight 77).

Mineta, summoned by the White House to the bunker, was on an open line to the Federal Aviation Administration operations center, monitoring Flight 77 as it hurtled toward Washington, with radar tracks coming every seven seconds. Reports came that the plane was 50 miles out, 30 miles out, 10 miles out-until word reached the bunker that there had been an explosion at the Pentagon."

First off, transwired, let's talk civily to one another. Name calling is a non sequetor and it prevents both sides from engaging rationally with one another. There is a dispute as to whether the Pentagon crashed at 9:37. There are reports that say it crashed at 9:43. But flight 93 did not crash until after 10am. Mineta heard the "Sir it's 10 miles out" at 9:40. So isn't it more likely that he is referring to flight 77?

F93 crashed at 10:06, there is no record that proves that Mineta overheard Dick's conversation at 9:40, where does it say that? Give me the source. Let's think logically here. Mineta walks into PEOC at 9:35, lets assume that the plane is 50 miles out from Pentagon, at low altitude plane travels 12 seconds per mile, so that is 12 x 50 = 600 seconds or 10 minutes, that would be 9:45 (not 9:37) very very unlikely.

There is some ambiguity here, I must admit. But it is more likely, given the times the two planes crshed (77 and 93) that mineta was referring to flight 77. But there are so many more pieces of evidence suggesting inside job. Read 911 Timeline dot org, which tells you what happened when and analizes the problems with the 911 story.

There is no point in talking to you. Mineta said Flight 77, he was confused, it was Flight 93. One simple confusion causes such a spin, because yes it makes a big difference whether it was F77 or F93.

Mineta never corrected himself to say it was 93 and not 77. Your argument should be based on the ambiguity of your opponent. It should be "We don't know if he was referring to 77, therefore we can't rush to judgment," for we certainly can't prove he was referringto flight 93.
