As a huge Bond fan, Dalton's two outings are the strangest for me. I really like TLD but LTK is one of my least favorites. I think the producers were struggling to find the correct direction for the series and it shows.

Certainly no other actor looked closer to Ian Fleming's physical description of Bond. Beyond that, Dalton was temprementally very close to what Bond should be on the screen. Bear in mind that I loved Sean Connery, whom I saw in DR. NO in it's original U.S. theatrical release in 1963!

3:05 God, what a luxuriously beautiful man. Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg in "Hot Fuzz" commentary said that even today, Dalton can walk down any high street and cause "lady quakes" (LOL) where ever he goes!

I love it how well he knows the Bond films and books. It was Dalton's Bond that made me want to be a Bond girl. After he stopped playing Bond, I wasn't interested in the films anymore.
