  • I can't believe how many classic rock era bands I am still discovering. It is hard to believe they weren't a big hit. Can anybody tells us what they are doing now? I know that Peggy passed away in 1975 according to a website. RIP Peggy and these chicks rocked!

  • any relation to the klingons only joking never heard of these before nice looking girls

  • The song is called `Good times´

  • cool....

  • I consider Debra as one of the most beautiful women I´ve ever seen in my life along with Catherine Bach and Linda Carter. Her beauty is unique. I´m 35 but I´ve seen videos on you tube where she appears, e.g., The Krofft Show and she was really beautiful. I love you Debra I´m still in love with you. You were, are and will always be my platonic love.

  • They remind me of The Carrie Nations.

  • How did these girls get hold of this Australian/Easybeats song,I wonder?? They are OK, but you need to listen to the original. Also Jimmy Barnes and Michael Hutchence did a good job a few yrs later.

  • Debra is my mom! She is the one that is playing base

  • @1tjhiphop - thanks. You are the first child of a Clinger that has commented whereas there have been no less than five nephews/nieces had a word to say below. Plus there's been a comment from someone whose sister's best friend had a Clinger for an aunt. Good on yer...

  • @1tjhiphop

Tell your mom there are still Clinger fans out there!!

  • @1tjhiphop This is before she was Superchick on the Krofft Supershow. Amazing! And speaking of that show, I have plenty of episodes. Come to my channel and check it out!

  • @1tjhiphop tell her that their singer wasn´t very talented.

  • @1tjhiphop

Your mother rocks! I hope she is well a makes still music!

  • Kim Fowley and four Mormon sisters? A karmic traffic jam if ever there was one.

Hey, I like them! Great vocals.

  • thats deb clinger (super chick) from kaptian kool and the kongs

  • I like the bass player with the hofner. She's the cutest

  • love all the old girl groups FANNY BIRTHA ... THENNNNNNNNNN THE RUNWAYS

  • Well, the original by the Easybeats was great, but this version is very very very charming. Thanks, girls (and uploader)

  • They should have come up with a better name for themselves than "The Clingers" or "The Clinger Sisters".

  • the original by the easy beats smokes the shit out of this remake, seriously it just seems so much better on every level (except for the hot chick bit)

  • Super-talented and smoking hot.... nuff said!

  • Hell! get me outta here. Bog!

  • yhis is crap compared to the EasyBeats

  • yes please

  • reminds me of a rock and roll version of x kinda like the runaways or the go-gos

  • where "the eyes" produced by Fowley too?

  • I don't see why this group is virtually unheard of, yet everyone thinks Janis Joplin was so great. Janis ain't got nothin' on these gals!

  • the original girl band!!!! 1969 - i was 14. love it!!

  • JIMMY BARNES!

  • this is so bad it's good, the easybeats must have been reeling!

  • They were on the Smothers brothers show from time to time.

  • How could anyone turn this song into such a stiff/turgid exhibition?

  • T O M M Y S M O B R O

  • Am I the only one that noticed the dude in the wig at 0:29 ???

  • I think that's Tommy Smothers mugging at the camera.

  • @READWOOOOO No you're not. I think that dude is playing organ..

  • @READWOOOOO Why would you think you were the only one to notice that?

  • Is that Judy from Lost In Space on guitar? :)

  • I'll take 60s music over disco and rap and so called punk rock , for the most part, ANYTIME.

  • Alright!! I was just a baby boy way back when and never heard of them until now!! Ha ha ha [cheeky]

  • this is my sisters best freinds aunts

  • I used to have a crush on debra Clinger when she was a part of Sid & Marty Krofft's Kaptain Kool & The Kongs. I also watched the episode of The Smothers Brothers that they were supposed to be on but they cut it out.

  • they are all just living their lives... lol...

    they all have families hahaha..

i dont really know what else to say?

  • They are not my aunts! I wish they were though.

I wonder what they are currently doing?

Can these nieces at least let us know what their aunts are up to??

  • Didn't they do a hot version of "Rock me" on the Smothers brothers show?

  • Peggy was my Aunt too.

  • Exactly how many people have the Clinger sisters as aunts???

  • @glenlyons98 If they're Mormons - probably hundreds.

  • @DeccaQuinne :)

  • YouTube community never ceases to amaze me!

It's always giving, giving, giving. Thank u 4 this nugget.

  • yes, they are from orem utah :)

    my aunts :)

  • met them in LA and got to know Melody.

  • I remember them, did they come from Orem?

  • me too kenvail, this one is new to me too

  • which one is peggy clinger?

  • peggy is the main singer. she was my aunt.

  • peggy is the singer.. they're my aunts haha

  • the lead singer is peggy clinger. shes my aunt :)

  • who's that man at 0:30?

  • That's Tommy Smothers, the loony half of the Smothers Brothers who were a Canadian comedy duo. They ended up with their own TV show and made a point of having on good quality bands. The fact that The Clingers consisted of four attractive girls also probably helped a bit.

  • @glenlyons98 Are you sure The Smothers Brothers were Canadian?

I am positive that they are not. And how can anyone have not heard of them before? like you seem to think "sreafea" hasn't.

  • @glenlyons98 The Smothers Brothers are not Canadian. They were born in New York and have lived in California for most of their lives.

  • @glenlyons98 HILARIOUS!! I watched the video like 10 times before I noticed. Our band is going to cover this song. But more in the Easy Beats style

  • i weird guy that just put his face in it. idk

  • my auntsss :)

  • You should tell your aunts that their 5 minutes of fame lives on in Australia - the Easybeats song they covered is iconic and their '60s garage rock credentials are highly regarded. They should reform and tour Down Under!

  • How COOL is that!!!!

  • they're my aunts too..

no way?! about the austrailia thing??

  • as much as i am into 60's garage rock, i wasn't aware of this one.
