Is it easy to recover form a spin or some kind of very serious full stall at a height of say 5000+ feet? I was wondering how safe this it is, I am really interested in getting one, please respond..
Better to buy a regular SLing sailplane. The view out of the Swift - through the numerous tubes and with the wing in front of your face - is simply terrible. And if you have a bad view what's the point of flying. Bad design....
@tienshanman1 most of the time when you are coring a thermal you are banking at 30 to 45 degrees - in the swift's case you simply look "up" to look "out" - your head is behind the wing so you get an unobstructed view
This aircraft, with the conventional Bailey 4 stroke engine (only 2L/hour consumption, and not more noise...so no interrest with this very limited electro engine...), is expansive (32000€) due to the sophisticated construction...
Glider and PAS version are the same construction and can be use in the 2 modes but in reality the PAS version are only use as motorglider but to much work to convert to pure glider and "vice versa"
Slsroger, thanks this is pushyhog, I need to get with you for a fuselage project, mike@harley
