  • great it gets played a lot during the summer with my brothers they are really good at it. I managed to get the game absolutely free for my sony ps3 from; 115 games [DOT] com they have hundreds and the best part is they are all totally free oh by the way 1:35 was awesome

  • This game is pretty difficult but it really trains your steering to FPS

  • Stupid AI, standing up straight in the open.

  • is out on x box 360?

  • yes

  • Not impressed. It looks just like every other shooter game in existence now. If they're going to call it Operation Flashpoint then it should at least be the same sort of game as Operation Flashpoint 1. Sure, most people hate it. But that's no excuse to change a series dedicated to people who like as much realism as possible. There are enough series for trigger happy fools already.

  • You obviously have done no research on the game. It is NOTHING like every other shooter out there. It will easily be the most realistic shooter to grace consoles. One obvious example is the distance he engages the first targets at, and the actual trajectory arc you an see on the tracers flying through the air. There are countless other examples you can find, if you really want to.

  • And yes i've done my research. Been following this game for a while, and as soon as they said you weren't able to lean, i was totaly turned off. That and 36 max players. I'll stick with arma2 when it comes to sims.

  • but isn't it like 36 players with each person controlling a 4 person ai fire team or is it just 36 players period?

  • 0:54

is this a shooting practice target?

  • 4 men coop? yea its better than arma2

  • this is even better than arma 2 but in 2010 operation arrowhead will also arrive i hope that you can control more than 12 soldiers like in opf1...

  • How is this better than arma2? They don't even have bullet drop in this game. There is no way you can even compare them.

  • this game engine does use true ballistics so yes it does have bullet drop

  • Are you blind or did you just completely ignore the acog and the iron sight clearly showing the bullet not dropping? There is a reason why the military has not asked codemasters to make a military simulator for them.

  • Bullet drop is in the game. The targets he was engaging were most likely at 300-400 meters away. At this range, there would be hardly any bullet drop on an M16. Towards the beginning of the video, you can see tracers flying through the air, showing a very obvious arc.

  • No, its definitely further than 300, more like 500. Event at 300, bullet drop starts to become apparent. Infact, the bullet hits were appearing above his sight. Which is just retarded.

  • For the sake of your nit-picking, I will give you 500 meters. At that distance there will be a very slight drop. If you look closely, he does aim just above the target when he scores a hit, and a kill shot. The rounds you see landing above his crosshair were the 2nd and 3rd rounds fired from the burst, and are impacting after the the shooter has returned the crosshair to the original point of aim. Pretty simple stuff. Very realistic. I will be turning the hit indicators off, of course.

  • No, i've shot a gun in real life and 500meters the drop is noticeable. And still, even if his burst fire was making the rounds hit above his sights when the gun resettled, its still not realistic. You should try playing a game with 90% bullet accuracy to real life. It will blow your mind. This game is a joke when it comes to realism. Disgrace to the original ofp.

  • You might have shot a gun, but you most likely have not shot an M16. If you have, then you would know the .223 round has an extremely high muzzle velocity, and holds its trajectory quite well. I can assure you it's quite realistic.

  • I've shot an m16, m4, ak-103, and several other weapons. M16's bullet drop becomes very noticeable after 300 meters. But i guess you wouldn't say that because its 1cm for it to be noticeable for you.

  • If you aim at the head, or just slightly above the head of a 500 Meter target with an M16, the round will impact center of mass. The shooter in the video leaves just about that much room for drop. Problem solved.

  • The more i look at this video, the more i realize how far those soldiers are. If the view distance is above 2000 meters, those soldiers have got to be way far out.

  • @ChAoTiC559 I have shot an M16 but it was the old model A1 so :P

  • If you really want to nit-pick, why the hell can we see the front sight post? With that magnification you either wouldn't see it at all or you'd see the faintest smudge.

  • It's not that I'm concerned about- it's the way that when the player gets shot it shows a bit of blood on the lens, and that's about it.

  • Anyone know how many Soldiers you can control altogether?

  • I guess you don't have to compensate for bullet drop in this game. This is not realistic at all. I guess it will make a nice spot next to my other non-sim games, looks kind of fun at the cod4 level.

  • looks so good only 1 week

  • outstanding ! great video.
