why? stocks are just fine! I race my YZ250F with a stock pipe and win on it... nothing wrong with the sound either.

ya but the stock is so restricting of airflow to meet sound requirements so you loose a lot of power at least get a slip on i mean i won on with my stock one but it opens up a lot of new lines cause of the more low end grunt
