I own a Esprit myself and they are extremely fast when you unleash that power plant. regarding the handling none of the cars would out beat he Lotus and thats a fact. Corvette will never be consider an Exotic bacuse they are built in mass production and their price are affordable to any retired old man. exotic must be limited and numbered in production, very rearly seen and not everyone is trained to work on their maintenance. trust me even for state inspection the shop will not even touch it.
@jimmyjones30 in defense of the corvette its faster than a lot of exotic cars so who give a shit , also the shelby supersnake only makes 1000 cars a year so since its a limited production it has to be considered and exotic. according to your standards , right ?

What I love is cars like this having fun on a freeway, and yes all are great, but the 30 year old Lotus with a better Power to weight ratio seems awsome, and wait till you get to the corners where it's light weight (some 200 - 300 kilos lighter than both) and great chassis would show the way. Still very Great to see guys having some fun in awsome cars.
The Z06 stock has 405HP and obviously has some performance upgrades (*pillar gauges). The Lotus probably has been chipped bringing it from 350HP to maybe 400HP and the Gallardo is most likely stock at 500HP. The Lotus wins! Lotus is more rare than Lamborghini and even out powered by these two is faster due to power to weight ratio. The Corvette is just an overpriced Chevy and not even in the same league as exotics.

Actually you see the Esprit let up because he was coming up on a car. I think the only car that was stock was the Gallardo.. but the fasted car of the bunch appears to be the twin turbo Esprit

No, just one blower, that twin supercharger stuff is very rare, never done on vettes, and even in general the twin setup is more for show than go. A single supercharger is usually more than enough to get the job done.

Yes the Esprit has turbos, but in the video I took it was the Z06's supercharger's bov that was heard. In the video my friend took from one of the SE's you can hear the Esprits bov.
