My wife has been a union member for 6 years working along side non union workers at the same job, same benefits, same pay, the only difference is she pays union dues each week what a joke, they have a no strike clause n their contract so they have no barganing power, what a waste of paying union dues. she joined thinking the union would help her move forward but all they do is take money from her check, I work non union and is not any better or worse than her, I keep my money though ha ha ha.

I have just seen the video for the first time and am yet to read any of the comments the rest of you have posted. All I will address is the shoving incident. The tall guy was all over the teamster in a very aggressive manner, he was even the first to move in. The teamster never moved out of his initial space. It's all in the video beginning exactly at 1:40. You can't let people do that to you. The police response & reaction is proof of my general sentiment. Any mammal would have done the same.

These union workers today are not real union. My grandfather was a real union man, when the union used to be a good idea. He only went into stores that were union, never bought anything that didn't have a union stamp on it, but if you go and look into these so called union workers they don't do that, and the today unions never work with the companies to make sure everything will be okay for the future, instead they just want more and more. Time to change the union or get rid of it.
