You mean the first BGM you hear? I don't think it has an official name (as the other tunes in the game either); I checked my "Symphony of Samus" (fan-made compilation) CD and it is simply titled "Main Tunnel"

Download a program called IPSWin to apply the patch, it should have a readme file with it that has instructions.

The Color makes this game so much better and more playable. I'm surprised Nintendo never did this for any of the handhelds, or even remade it like zero mission.

if you play this on the gameboy color don't you get the color

You do get color, but the color palette for the gameboy color alone, isn't as large or varied as the color patch I used.

Sorry, I wouldn't know, not a mobile expert. There is a fan remake called Project AM2R, and Nintendo did re-release this game for the 3DS Virtual Console not long ago.

better than the first one, i even like the atmosphere of this one better than the rest of metroid games. Original color of old gameboy as well. Nothing on this earth will make you feel more claustrophobic.

Is it just me, or does this game have better graphics than Metroid for the NES?

You are not alone on this, I agree on this, the lack of color in the first Gameboy forced designers to compensate by adding more visual detail into the game such as giving Samus' Varia Suit armor plating rather than simply changing the color like back in the NES.
