Hey, the fact it's warmer doesn't mean at all it gives you less grip. in fact, there are certain temperatures that gives you a good grip. But believe the usually you have less grip in cold temperatures...

of course you are right . heat can mean good grip ( eg heating tires in the F1-series ) but i wasnt thinking about rubber . i was talking about the road . a cold road is very rough and so the tires are kept on the road with more power . roads in the desert are somehow "melting" and over years they become very slipery => less grip => better for drifts
