The only purpose of the Kingdom Chums is to teach the 10 Commandments. It is not used to convert anyone to Christianity. That is obvious because the story of Jesus is left out.
He's all you need. He's the glory and the power. He's all you need Every minute, every hour. Don't bow down to golden things, Fancy cars, shiny wings. If you worship only things, Where can it lead? Don't put any god before Him. Don't put any god before Him. He's all you need.
Don't make gods of movie stars, Robot men or rock guitars. If you only turn to them, You won't succeed. Don't put any god before Him. Don't put any god before Him. Don't put any god before Him. He's all you need. He's the glory and the power. He's all you need Every minute, every hour. He's all you need.
I'm not a devout Christian but I found this film strangely infectious. It's preachy but at the same time this film is colourful, well animated and has a cast of likable characters, and it makes the ten commandents into very simple rules for kids to follow. I've seen some dreadful games and movies created 'in the name of God' that only seeks to scare people away from the good teachings by being so poorly produced. Conparatively this is far better made with a clearer message behind it.
I lived with my grandfather's family in 1993, in Castor, Louisiana, and they were very religious. My sister and I would go to church every time the doors were open. I remember this video that my sister and I used to watch nearly every day. Even though those days are long gone and I am 22 years old now, I wouldn't trade the values that I learned and experienced in those times for anything. Follow the love light!
@Hethrin Teach the ability to Question, compare religious text to real life phenomenon's, secularism, live life to the fullest, human nature and it's origins, and of course, teaching to learn to tolerate minorities that would normally be prejudiced by certain religions like LGBT people. These are just a few ideas to be turned into cartoony joy. Though, these days i'd much rather make a cartoon educating gay teenagers. People always ignore this subject, leaving these poor kids out of the blue. :c
@Hethrin live life for God to your fullest and when you die your body goes back to dust because that's how we were made and our spirit inside of us go into heaven or hell. Because God looks on the inside not on the outside (1 Samuel 16:7)
see the last song, that's how i feel about mother earth. also why i hate when people treat the earth with so little respect. when you cut down a tree that isn't rotting just so you have a "better" lawn or don't want to rake, its sad. when you mindlessly waste things, don't even try to fix them when there broken just throw them out and get a new one? that is bullshit. everything anyone ever needs in materials is already made and here, try used.
Thanks for posting this! I used to watch it everytime I went over to my Grandma's house. Haven't seen it since I was 6 or 7. I've been looking for it, just couldn't remember the name.
God is closer than you think. When you see the kindness of a stranger all you have to do it look right across from you, and you will see a part of God, for it is written the pure in heart will see God. The image of God is not two legs a torso two arms, and a head, it is Gods loving compassionate character. When we have Christs spirit in us we will have God in us. When that occurs we will be good to our neighbor even the gay, furry, and zoosexual. wise, harmless, not a liar, meek, forgiving7x70.
Oh my god. I remember when this came out in '92. I used to watch it religiously (no pun intended). I had a dream about this last night and spent an hour trying to find the cassette, only to realize I no longer have it. Thank you, youtube! XD

There is a difference between "ur my hero" and "ur my God" ... musical artists can be heroes who inspire... think about that.

Does the list of commandments going like: "Number One: Only One God; Number Two: No Idols" tell one the song titles?
KBAFourthtime 1 year ago
How do the songs "Only One God" and "Love One Another" go?

@KBAFourthtime Never mind.
