You don't get to call the shots when you're under arrest.
If the cop doesn't want to be backed up against traffic, you move back when he tells you. When he tries to cuff you, you don't pull away and state that you're going back to your vehicle. When he repeatedly warns he'll use his taser, you don't keep up your stupid behaviour and expect him not to.
She's not some poor, confused little granny. She broke the law, knew she would go to jail for not signing, resisted arrest, and ignored warnings.

However, the woman was still being a combattive, uncooperative ass, and doesn't deserve a free pass for her actions regardless of her age. That was my point.
For refusing to cooperate and simply walking away from the officer, he should have arrested her; in which case he would be criticized for handcuffing a 72 year-old woman.

Old people have brittle bones and skin and if the tasers hit something of even MINOR importance then the old person could die. She could had a seizure from shock(Lol, shock). You don't get to call the shots when you're under arrest.
If the cop doesn't want to be backed up against traffic, you move back when he tells you. When he tries to cuff you, you don't pull away and state that you're going back to your vehicle. When he repeatedly warns he'll use his taser, you don't keep up your stupid behaviour and expect him not to.

She sped, refused to sign the ticket (saying "take me to jail"), didn't have the common sense or courtesy to give the cop with his back to traffic a little space, and refused even when he told her several times. She pulls away from him when he tries to cuff her. He warns her about the taser many times.
She could have signed or gone peacefully. Tell it to the judge lady.
