I've said it before; when that video hits about the 1:40 mark...and the lyric mentions "no man's land", well...

...you've gotta' be a Kiwi or an Aussie to really get it. I'm a Yank who had the privilege of travelling extensively in New Zealand and Australia. Beautiful land; wonderful people. And they haven't forgotten the Great War.

@spankMAbooTAY hahaha i know i know! im a VERY nostalgic person, not only when it comes to things i grew up with (eg old tv shows, games, etc from the late 90s when i was little, ) but also things before my time. eg 70s 80s, thats why i cherrish everything thats about now and try and preserve as much media and such as i can now so that way when im in my 30s and 40s i can look back 20-30 years ago to when i was younger :)

@liaiscool333 You sure got that right. I first hear this song the summer before my senior year in hs when I used to watch MTV almost 10 hours a day. It was on non-stop in mine and my friends' houses. I'll never understand why MTV's new owners took a winning formula and changed it into sth God-awful! Such a damn shame.

I remember getting into arguments with my sister about the Enz. She saw the hair and costumes and thought they were punk. I told her they could not be further from punk. There was no real term to describe the type of music they played...other than great. New Wave was probably the closest term to what they played, but they were so much more than that.
