  • It's sounds like Man with Harmonica :) by Ennio Morricone...hmmm

  • "here... little poppet..."

  • 1:01 is like the guy with the harmonica from "once upon a time in the west"

  • "D*&^ to the depths whatever madman thought up parley!"

    Jack: "That would be the french."

  • At my wedding, I'm going to walk down the aisle to this song. Starting at 1:02.

  • Captain Jack: 'what was the word? Penut...no...Pa...po...'

    'parlay?'

    Captain Jack: 'yes! That's the good one!'

  • From 1:02, I went insane.

  • so who else here was expecting henry fonda to come out of a bramble bush for a closeup

  • 0:55 BAAAM

    Barbarossa: Jack's one of the nine pirate lords, you have no rights!

    Elizabeth: King...?

    Jack: As you command, your nibs.

  • Where is polish coments . Elo ziomki

  • davy jones in his bucket...LIKE A BOSS

  • @spookycats12 Why do you copy the top comment?

  • Morgan and Bartholomew - keep to the code...

  • Advise your Brethren: you can fight, and all of you will die, or you can not fight, in which case only most of you will die.

  • @SparklingControversy We WILL fight and you WILL die.

  • Dislike the electric guitar.

  • If anyone can make math homework fun, it's Hans Zimmer.

  • @laurelinkiralee omg! YES! I look forward to my math because I can listen to epic music too!

  • It's so amazing that Hans Zimmer can do a classic Western song, together with his own pirate song and it still sounds amazing!

  • @Marthekoo The original song is composed by Ennio Morricone, as a theme for "Once Upon a Time in West" and Zimmer just lend it in the epic scene.

  • @The7thsonof7thson xd, okay, but it's used with alot of western movies, that's what I ment (:

  • If I'm not mistaken, the name of the song was "Man with a Harmonica Theme".

  • @AverruncusFate True. Fucking bastards.. don't mess with Ennio Morricone!

  • Thumbs up if you notice this song was used before, in a movie called "Once Upon a Tme in the West". It was the main theme, the main character was always playing this with his instrument.

  • Pintel: your supposed to be dead!

    Jack: am i not??

    (Pirates hold up there knifes and guns)

    Jack: parleleley, parellleleoo, para le neey, par...... snip, parsley, par partner partner

    Ragetti: Parlay???

    Jack: thats the one! parlay! PARLAY!

    Pintel: parlay? (looks at ragetti)

    Pintel: damn to the depths whichever man thought of parlay!

    Jack: that would be the french.. LOLOLOL

  • @2asherroth actually it's "Down to the depthes..." but still great job.

  • Davy : Do yo feel death ..!! :D

  • whats the original of this song called?

  • This was an intentional parody of the Harmonica theme from Once Upon a Time in the West

  • Who else has seen "Once Upon a Time in the West" and notices the inspiration?

  • @VenomShock This is also like Rango Returns from Rango...

  • @DoYouFearDeath333 I just went and listened to it. That makes me happy. Verbinski must really love that flick.

  • Jack what in bloody hell are you doing to that farm animal???!

    Jack: uh situations ensued and had to be done...

    PARLAY

    *music and glare at each other*

  • Davy Jones and his bucket are just the cutest things ever.. Will and Beckett are standing there acting likes bosses (even though they aren't) and Davy's completely helpless with his little bucket :3

  • A pirate-far west music. Oh gosh, I love it !

  • Policeman: "I saw you urinating in the park, young man. That will be a heavy fine.'

    Me: "...Parlay?"

    *music starts to play*

  • @TubaChan27 don't worry I was kind of joking too (but i have to admitt that what I said was a little strong... :)). What you said is funny cause im french and I'd perhaps rather live in America: "the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence". France isn't the greatest either.

    Again, sorry for the too easy stereotype

  • @CedricP91 I don't mean to start anything, but I disagree with what you're saying. I don't know why they changed "Parler" to "Parley", but that one line was just a joke. Similar ones are made a lot, whether it's French, Spanish, English, etc. And yeah, we aren't great with languages, but I think schools require 2 years of another language, and colleges want 3. America isn't the greatest, trust me, I'd rather live in France or Canada, but you shouldn't stereotype every American as the same. (:

  • Will: King?

    Elizabeth: Of the Brethren Court. Courtesy of Jack.

  • Short guy: There they are, let's get them!

    Pirates: Yah!!!! (sees the entire armada) Yah!! Ya- (stars at Jack)

    Jack: (sees everyone staring at him)... P-parley?

  • Think like the whelp, think like the whelp, think like the whelp.

  • Elizabeth:*Thinks for a while* "I'm prepared to offer a trade."

    Beckett:"For what?"

    Elizabeth:"Will...... for Jack Sparrow"

    Barbossa:"YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TRADE JACK!"

    Elizabeth:"Uhhh, KING?" *points at self*

    Jack: -_-

  • Davy Jones and his bucket... Like a BOSS

  • Is anyone else reminded of "Old Souls" track from Inception OST?

  • @Superser well i was just going to say it sounds just like "One Simple Idea" from the Inception OST, and that Hans Zimmer probs recycled a bit of his material :p

  • Anyone else think this sounds similar to that eery theme Ennio Morricone uses in "Once upon a time in the West?"

  • @HomieG75 It's the same theme dude;)

  • @1966065013 It's CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow. :o

  • Badass.....

  • can you please send this to me as im using as my stage intro

    jonreid1@live.co.uk

  • the parrot: SCWUG! Abandon ship!!!

  • a western pirate?! no, just epic music created by Hans Zimmer - we r not worthy to speak his name. All respect

  • listen to rango returns by hans zimmer, i am sure if you like this you would enjoy that also

  • 1:02 is where things reaaaally get awesome. :)

  • Jones is inside a bucket of water. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

  • This sounds a bit like music in a Western movie... At least beginning from 1:02.

  • @TheAzeRealm I think it was supposed to sound like that, if you watch the scene it's just like the part from a Western movie, when the good guys face the bad guys xD

  • @LaraCroftFan123 yeah, and they walk like guys in westerns :D

  • @TheAzeRealm From the man with the harmonica by Ennio Morricone which is a western... well the background anyway.

  • @TheAzeRealm I like that! They are the cowboys of the sea!

  • @TheAzeRealm Reminded me of The Good, The Bad and the Ugly the very first time I heard of it at that point :)

  • EPIC!

  • i LOVE how there is a sequence of the theme music of the famous movie "once upon a time in west" starting at 1.02 :D :) has something cowboyish....western style^^

  • He went ahead and used the same framework for a confrontation in Rango. Silly Zimmer! It's okay, we love you anyway.

  • im worried about POTC 5 'cause in 4 they killed off Mr. Cotten, Ragetti, Pintel, and the two funny British pplz that pretended to be pirates in the end of POTC num. 3... they lost all the comic relief characters... RIP

  • @SnowLepord I thought they were all still trapped in the bottle

  • @SnowLepord when did they kill cotten and pin and co?

  • 1.03 sounds a bit like one of the soundtracks from red riding hood, (the bit where peter and valerie are walking away from the village in the snow) or is it just me?

  • This is Hans Zimmer's tribute to Ennio Morricone's "Man with Harmonica". Ennio is Zimmer's favourite composer and he looks up to him quite a lot. :)

  • 1:02 Best Part

  • Once upon a time in the Caribbean

  • best part 1:05 yeah! :D

  • i have this for my ringtone on my phone!!! I <3 this scene!!! its funny and coool ;)

  • I love Pirates of the Caribbean and this music sounds like a Ennio Morricone's western music!!!!!!!!

    POTC FOREVER!!

  • @anaclaraaralcana well the second half of this is pretty much lifted straight from "Man with a harmonica"

  • Cowboys of the Caribbean 1:02

  • Barbossa: Jack is one of the nine pirate lords. You have no right!

    Elizabeth: King.

    ~~~~~~
    Will: King?
    Elizabeth: Courtesy of Jack.
    Will: Maybe he really does know what he's doing.
    *O.o Will, when does he NOT know what he's doing?*
  • Pillaged from Once Upon a Time in The West. a Yaaargghh.
  • Pirates + Spaghettj Western = EPIC.
  • @DaviUnic no its do you feel dead?! thats the line
  • @LpsRox111 *fear
  • @LpsRox111 *fear death
  • @TheMathias95 i understood dead its dead
  • @LpsRox111 it would make no sense if he said "do you fear dead" see? That sounds friggin wrong :) Sorry but I think you are misunderstanding something there :b
  • @TheMathias95 i SAID FEEL DEAD NOT FEAR DEATH !
  • @LpsRox111 yeah and that's what I meant.... He don't say "Do you feel dead"
  • The director Gore Verbinski played the guitar bit, it's on the DVD extras
  • Barbosa: "You'd be the cur who have led these wolves to our doors!"
    Beckett: "Don't blame Turner! He was merely the tool of your betrayal, If you wish to see its grand architect, look to your left."
    *Barbossa looks**Elizabeth looks* *Jack looks then turns back around*
    Jack: "My hands are clean in this... figuratively."
    Will: "My actions were my own. Jack had nothing to do with it."
    Jack: "Well spoken! Listen to the tool!"
    Gotta Love Caprain Jack Sparrow :D
  • @1966065015 ahem u spelt the most epic man alive's name, its CAPTAIN NOT CAPRAIN X3...♥jack forever♥
  • @1966065015 wrong* -_- oh dear what is this typing karma?
  • @1966065015
    Beckett: If Turner was not acting on your behalf, then how did he come to give me this? You made a deal with me, Jack, to deliver the pirates, and here they are. Don't be bashful, step up, claim your reward. [tosses Jack compass]
    Davy: Your debt to me is still to be satisfied. One hundred years in service aboard the Dutchman. As a start.
    Jack: That debt was paid, mate, with [motions to Elizabeth] help.
    Davy: You escaped!
    Jack: Technically...
  • This is the best score the whole POC but mayby this sounds little bit too much Ennio Morricone's score at the once upon a time in the west. But still this really make me struggle when I watching this at the cinema
  • So epic :D I was watching the movie and I was like ''a guitar? AWESOME!''
  • Sounds like a Western.
  • Does anyone else feel like listening to 'Knights of Cydonia' by Muse after listening to this? Or is it just me? lol
  • @Thraxxzilla your not alone
  • Beckett: if you really want to know, who's the traitor looks on your left xD
  • love the guitar!
  • what do you say when you don't wanna die?
    Parlay? *shrugs shoulders*
  • "if u want to see the grand artitecture, look to your right"
    "my hand are clean in this. figuratively."
    "you made a promise with me jack, and here they are. step up, claim ur award"
  • This makes me remember the "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" theme.
  • @SPIDERSAMHULKBLADE Reminds me more about the '' Once upon a time in the West theme''
  • You know Gore Verbinski (the director) played the guitar for this track?
  • Ragetti: [spots Jack ] You.
    Pintel: You're supposed to be dead!
    Jack : Am I not? [looks down at himself] Oh. [finds pistols pointed at him] Palulay?palu-li-la-la-lulu, parlili? parsnip, pasley, par - partner, partner?
    Ragetti: Parley?
    Jack : Parley! That's the one. Parley! Parley!
    Pintel: Parley? Down to the depths whatever man that thought up parley!?
    Jack : That would be the French.
  • @pottyaboutpotter1 "Latin base, inventors of mayonnaise"
  • @pottyaboutpotter1 The inventors of mayonaise
  • @pottyaboutpotter1 inventers of mayonaisse.
  • @pottyaboutpotter1 They cme up with mayonnaise!
    Ragetti: I like mayonnaise!
  • Lord Cutler Becket: "
    You may fight, and all of you will die,
    or you may not fight,
    in which case only most of you will die.
  • why oh why couldn't this be longer???
  • Pirates of the Caribbean:The Spaghetti Western
    Once Upon a Time in the West-"Harmonica" sounds a lot like this starting at 1:00.
  • At 1:00 "The good the bad and the ugly!" Walking slowly for dramatic effect! Awesome!!
  • muy bueno gracias
  • i know i love that part
    Culter " come on step right up dont be basfule take your picke
  • Beckett:"Turner was only the tool of your betrayal, if you wish to see it's grand architet look to your left"
  • Barbosa: "You'd be the cur who have led these wolves to our doors!"
    Beckett: "Don't blame Turner! He was merely the tool of your betrayal, If you wish to see its grand architect, look to your left."
    -EVERONE LOOKS AT JACK-
    Jack: "My hands are clean in this!... .... figuratively..."
    Will: "My actions were done by my own hands. Jack had nothing to do with it."
    Jack: "Well spoken! Listen to the tool!"
    GREAT LINES
  • 7 persons aren't listening the tool
  • a bit of western kicks in and goes all epic at 1:01
    :)
  • mmm.... some Hans Zimmer liked Once upon a time in the West
  • Davy Jones eyebrow, LOL
  • This song gives me chills O_O
  • Jones: Do you feel dead?
    Sparrow: You have no idea?
  • They are the best of the world....Love Pirates....Love Jack...
  • The worst about this soundtrack: the epicness only lasts 2 minutes and 10 seconds!
  • Parlay, a tribute to Ennio Morricone's Man with a Harmonica theme, is used during the parlay scene. Jack, Elizabeth and Barbossa go to meet Beckett, Jones and Will, who attempts final negotiations before war. The A love theme is played on a distorted electric guitar, while the strings accompany with the ostinato of Cutler Beckett's theme.
  • @TeamEdwardJacob44 I realized they were composed by the same person. However, the beginning's are almost the same. It usually sounds different
  • Comment removed
  • @QuicKsteR6 this is actually an adapted morricone song from "once upon a time in the west" ;)
  • @chloe1878 That's what I thought the first time I heard it, but I didn't wanna seem stupid by saying it and being wrong. Thanks for clearing it up. :}
