heyy...if you want to hear a great band that IS CHRISTIAN and is huge in the secular music world..check out "the devil wears prada" they are amazing...also "after the sirens" is AMAZING!! and i think they were there...am i right? lol thx
those kids are brain washed its like their parent have poisend them against the outside world music is great whether its chrisrian or satanic it dosent matter but that dosent mean because you listen something and then beat some one up if you think like that there's something with you
It's not that were brainwashed. Its something we strongly believe in. And some of our parents have Never been christian. You Truely know God when you talk to him and feel him. But i agree, Some christian music sucks. Like some un-christians bands too.
i see where your coming from its not the music its being forced on a lot of people like one of my freinds parents used to never let him do anything and would only let him listen to stuff that was christian of cencored and gave him no freedom and now he's in jail
When I can see young people interested in doing something good as it is I praise the Lord. With other motivation they are killing eachother by the influence of Satan. Praise be the Lord!
I reverence Christ as my Saviour, it a little more serious than "lets have a concert in Christ's name" I dont think he would appreciate that. However, I believe he would have us repect His name and honor it by what we do, our everyday actions
Sure we accept it, but it's part of the old testament laws, Jesus came and changed everything! he made miracles on the sabbath of rest, that's why he was hated! because he changed the rules.
yeah and i suppose strapping a bomb on you back and runnning thru a jewish settlment is good thing to do. let get it straight christ has already won the battle you say where shallow look at the muslim world you live by hatred and thats godly i dont think so i'll pray for u brother
I don't have a problem with the "Keep it crunk" statement. We have to speak to the younger generation in a way that will reach them on their level. I don't particularly like the hip hop style of Christian music but if it reaches a segment of the kids today then let it be.
.... is being used by christians it is ok? So did Jesus tell sinners to go ahead and keep sinning just as long as the listened to him speak? so if christian artist says lets get crazy and drunk to non-christians as well as christian listeners then its ok because it is in a song? Being unworldly is a big part of what being a christian is about I am not saying we can't live in the world because that would be dumb because we do we are just set apart. And we have to be very careful of our actions
No where thank God... but i have heard lets get "crunk" and where im from all the kids in my youth understand that the origins of crunk as a slan word is to get "Crazy-drunk... or Crunk"
Yeah... this is just trying to sell religion by imitating secular art, which is better by the virtue that it isn't focused on being sacred. Or maybe you meant that you were disappointed in them as Christians, in which case I agree as well.
Actually, most "Christian" artists are doing just like "secular" artists, making music about things they are interested in, or things they have experienced, or wish to experience, or they are just making music to have fun. They are by no means "imitating" secular art. Yeah, it'll sound like the popular styles, but so do the popular styles, if you get my drift. The idea that "Christian music" imitates or tries to copy "secular music" is as outdated as beta max and the Gremlin.

It is really sad that these born again christian people have to sell Jesus in such a disrespectful way.

"keep it Crunk" as christians shouldn't we try to be as unworldy as possible? It makes me sad when i see and hear things like that...

i think non-christian kids will respond more to it presented in music rather than telling them to be unworldly.
