Honesty time: The Ocean Spirit was the ONLY thing in the entire show that really truly frightened me, a 27 y.o. male. The main reason for that is because I have a sincere fear of the ocean. Not so much looking at it, or sailing on it with a boat, but bathing and looking directly into the wet abyss makes my very soul turn cold.

And it all started with a 6 year old boy who went swimming on the beach one day, then took his head underwater and looked towards the open sea... and saw only darkness.

"The Siege of the North Parts 1 & 2" were definitely two of the most epic episodes, and Aang's Avatar State Transformation in collaboration with the Ocean Spirit along with this awesome soundtrack to back it up only helps it prove just that.
