i just did the same thing with the vader helmet but with something different i wonder if any one ever thought to use the old kenner darth vader helmet because i did and i tell you what from the pic of the film and the quarter scale pics that old kenner 14" vader helmet looks awsome on the side show it looks like the old kenner version but with the twist of the future
When I opened mine I heard a snap around the helmet and I looked at the tusk and thought it was broken. Then the prototype images on the box showed the black tusk and I felt a lot better.
If i took it of ..could i take away the remaining glue from his head as in clean it of so i can show of the inner helmet without big glue blotches ruining it? why would sideshow put extra detail on the back of his head and then have the dome permenently hide it

Yes the dome is glued i think the glue can be removed off the head.On mine it was more on the sides.
I dont know why they added the extra detail on the back of the head maybe to keep the dome in place ????
