what if the rest of the crew from the second destiny discovered werent killed in the wormhole after Telford made it home but where sent were sent to this planet and stranded as a result of a flare causing the wormhole to jump to another gate years in the past and this has lead to this chance meeting here.

Possibly those people are decendents by the other time line in "Twin Destinies", remember? If u saw that episode u would remember the other episode in season 1 where they travel back in time for the first time. That episode showed that the stargate's puddle was breaking showing that a solar flare affected the wormhole. The same thing happended in "Twin Destinies" after Teleford went first the gate began to break. Everyone else went through after.

I don't understand how this could have happened? Did they go into the future? Or are they in an alternate reality? because I was reading around and it said that destiny founded this city two thousand years ago... But if they are the present destiny, than they (descendants) shouldn't know them. Because I thought the old destiny team that sent the message back in time on the one episode died... Soo confused..

@ClarKent ur a dumbass. yes u can hold the gun (g36) by the mag/mag well. u can't accidentaly pull out the mag, u have to push the mag release to eject the mag. the gun g36 is a military rifle so it would not jam with a bit of pressure on the mag

if he tries to shoot like this he'll probably either jam the rifle or pull the ammo out accidenly.

you guys are idiots if they're ancients, they are descents on destiny's crew,the people on board,remember when they tried to dial earth, and all those people went threw and they thought they died, maybe they didnt die, maybe then just went threw to another planet nearby with a destiny stargate,and they survived and lived on there,and had children etc.

okayy plzz if u read thee description it is an alien civilisation which say there were founded by the ancients. i believe the ancients gave them some of their intelligence and the SG crew can learn more about their MISSION.

@foliver88 No it wouldn't be the ancients, as they never boarded the Destiny my theory is that if you watch Season 2 episode 2 Gin says about a legend where Destiny could had great power of the gods and great power of time (not precise words but something along these lines). Maybe Destiny travelled back 2000 and the crew got stuck etc etc etc :)

@MrGibbsOfficial Accually I think they are the descendents of Destiny's original crew. That is atleast what the Stargate Wikia states. That does not explain how they know their names however.
