They may make millions per week, but the bandwidth costs tens of millions per week. Do a Google search of YouTube's finances and you'll soon learn they lose money every year. In 2009, they had a near half a billion dollar short fall between profits and advertising and costs. Google "YouTube is Doomed" and select the first result. That's a good summary.
