my power button is not responding... can i use this to function like a powerbutton?

@beninjamin Yes Absolutely but i wouldn't recommend it since you wont be able to power it back on. If you want you can use the SBSettings to turn off your iPhone/iPod but then plug it into a computer or outlet to turn it back on since your power button doesn't work.

Thanks. Couldn't work out how to run SBSettings - sorted now and got a nice new numeric battery level to boot!

i believe in order for the SBSetting to work u have to chose one or the other. I've heard of BossPerf but SBSetting is very similar to it. I went with SBSettings and am happy with it. Try removing BossPerf temporarily and download SBSetting from cydia and see if that does the trick
