As an experiment, this is pretty hilarious. But as a comedy act, done infront of a crowd who is expecting to laugh, this is rape of an audiens. You can feel that the crowd thinks "Why?". There is no similarity with Kaufmann what so ever. He always had somekind of a releafe. You need to be funny underneath the un-fynny-nes.

I've seen a lot of Kaufman performances either off old t.v. clips or internet. comparing Kaufman to slug is like comparing dogshit to something extremely talented. I was sitting right in front of him, the only thing that i liked was the fact that he got off the stage adn i finished watching the football game

Haha, I didn't even smile until about the 2:50 mark and then I just cracked up. I love how silent it was in that place! Kaufman is one of my biggest influences and I can definitely tell he was one of yours as well. It was very awkward, bazaar, and a little embarrassing. I just don't think the world is ready for The Amazing Mr. Slug.
