  • Interesting that buffalo don't really seem to have evolved an effective strategy to protect calves, looking at vids of them they seem to be quite effective at chasing lions off a kill (when it''s really too late), but less effective at preventing the kill in the first place.

  • @JimTLonW6 It is a genetical ''JUMP'' what's needed for them to learn how to defend temselves and mostly their calves. I am not against lions but, buffalos are too stupid. Many other small animals mainly mammals are light years ahead these nonsters when you talk about intelligence. Likely it will be solved tomorrow or one hundred or even a million years in the future. Hope we can see this day.

  • @TheJudger21 Well actually, they have a strategy of protecting their young that is good enough. This is proven by their mere existence. No animal can save all its youth, but if they save enough, the species continues on. Animals that barely protect their young, in turn, have many offspring, in order to increase chances of survival. More dominant animals have few children and protect them well. Evolution is as simple as it gets, if the species is alive today, they are doing it right.

  • @JimTLonW6 In some areas of Africa Buffalo have a better handle on how to protect their young. I believe it has to do with time & evolution, I imagine. But I have definitely seen better protection on a continuous basis day in and day out in some areas relative to other areas.........

  • If buff surround lions they easy kill lions but buff no organize an run like chicken too easy

  • It's a real pleasure to watch not only a good quality video but also an interesting one as well.

Hey what's with this endless debate about what is tougher Lion or Tiger.

    It's so ridiculous.

  • Wow, I love how African buffaloes have such structured camaraderie. Notice how all adult bulls entrap the lioness 2:26-2:58. She was very lucky to have escaped unharmed.

  • la nature est cruelle mais tout le monde doit manger c est horrible de voir ca de pres

  • Simplemente estupendo video, gracias por compartir, thanks for sharing ^^

leones son impresionantes dominantes, debe haber como 20 a 1 de diferencia.

  • very primal

  • great video that lioness was really scared

  • @malcomino A Lion is substantially stronger than a Tiger.

  • @hoyfanofboulder Very wrong. I'm a BIG Lion fan, but a Tiger is bigger, heavier and stronger than a Lion.

  • @bangitslo tigers are only slightly heavier and stronger but lions are better experienced at fighting hunting and prey for big animals unlike the tiger which hunts alone and goes for smaller prey. if tigers lived in africa they would be screwed by lions and even hyenas
