I'm going to Cedar Point next month for a school trip. I'm gonna ride this but I'm pretty scared. I haven't rode the Power Tower before because I'm too big of a baby. I don't wanna ride the one that drops down because I'd be freaking out. I wanna ride the Dragster, too. Man I can't wait until I go to Cedar Point. It's gonna be the best time ever. I've been to Cedar Point before and never rode this for some reason. Hopefully I won't be too scared this time.

i remeber when i got on this...literally my heart like stopped i was in such a state of shock i couldn't breathe or scream.but then finally after we stopped falling i started screming like a mainac, overall though i would definitely ride it again.(note: i dont really think it helped my fear of heights cause thats the main reason i rode it)

Mmm.... S&S Turbo Drop ride. Nice job holding onto your camera, I would've faced the camera forward or downward, and not at your friend. At least you can still tell the rate you descend, which is fair enough.

I LOVE the green tower! Once you get up there its like dead silent, then you hear the air compressor make that really loud noise, then you drop! Just thinking about it makes my feet sweat..... Cant wait to go on May 29th!!!

The only ride at Cedar Point that seriously scared me. Being on top on that tiny little seat looking over waiting to be dropped- I know it sounds pathetic, but I was terrified. I had the feeling that my harness was going to snap and I would fall off the seat. It was horrible. Never rode it again.

I swear I almost started screaming. They hold you up there for 2-3 minutes before they drop you. I was mad as hell. I was cussing up a storm to my brother, "Why the fuck did we get on here, I can't believe you talked me into this shit! I'm gonna kill you when we get off this ride!" etc. He just laughed. I'm telling you I was sooo mad.

The one that shoots you up is really fun because they're not jerks about it and hold you up there for an hour.

I've heard the heat gets really bad down there. Last summer I went to an outdoor concert in Columbus and it hit 102 that day. It hit over 100 a few times last year here in Ohio. This year it hasn't been so bad, the highest it's hit so far is in the lower 90s.

Re: wicked twister front seat: When you're in front going forward, you have very little to see but sky so you lose a lot of the sense of motion and location that is always powerfully felt from the rear; backing up the twist, the front seat doesn't go high enough to thrill, or enter the twist. Back seat is the best!
