If you were to not to exist tomorrow, I wouldn't have that space. I would have to create it anew, because I wouldn't have it anymore....(That sounds like, if you leave, I could always find someone else, and get what I need from them.) Sounds like a lot of validation is needed. Did I misinterpret this?
@@nawmmbr I can see it like that; I see it as the creation (marriage) is being exulted over the creator. If he was to die or whatever she would most likely fill that void. Is it realistic to feel that type of way for someone loses them and truelly feel that way for another? If he can be replaced by someone or something, how valuable was he?

This is something you NEVER see you NEVER see Black men and BLACK women look at each other and say "I love you, I deem you valuable". In Hollywood Black=dysfunctional. Black=pathological. Even on supposedly Black web sites it seems they are infested with folks so full of self-hatred all they can do is try to tear each other down.

Not to mention, the artists (film makers, writers, etc.) who put the time and effort to create these stories!!! Go head! (big smile) Just goes to show us not ALL couples and marriages are DOOMED! As a young film maker my self I'm tired of these "I need him/her or I would die" movies us blacks keep making. I'm going to make a movie covering the life of singles, a harsher more nihilistic life that is never properly portrayed in black movies.
@Gmancrap We really don't see enough of these kind of movies, especially in MAINSTREAM media from blacks or otherwise. If we did, how do you explain our broken homes, divorce rate and majority of our children being raised in SINGLE parent homes? The portrayal of single life is fine, but MOST singles I know ARE looking for someone to spend their life with and start a family. (I'm happily married 15 years with children). Just shared my thoughts. Appreciate you reading and open to rebuttal. BLove
There's plenty of married couples who are just as bad as singles. They neglect their kids, they are immature and they waste their money on stupid things. Its amazing that you are married. But what about me? I would like some one also. Does that make my life worth less then yours? Do I not deserve a movie?

@Gmancrap There are movies that portray single life as being horrible and crappy. Many single people seem happy outside but on the inside they are killing themselves longing for companionship. All singles are not, but many of the single people I know are selfish, feel like life and God has done them wrong and do not care about anyone but themselves being ahead of the game. Married life is not the only way to go, but if you don't have Jesus, somewhere you end up being selfish. What do you think?
I recently saw a fb status where the guy was complaining about his relationship and asking when does compromise turn into surrender, as if that was a bad thing. My response was isn't that what is necessary - isn't necessary to surrender to the relationship? I am glad to see a video with married people, in particular a man, saying that sacrifice is an essential part of marriage. Our fear of sacrifice, of surrender, of losing our selves is a huge obstacle to getting and to staying married.
