How come every surface is made by triangular shapes, like polygons? Is that one of the plugins?

Now don't take this the wrong way, but have you ever considered a tool more appropriate to your modelling style than Sketch Up? Everything you're doing would probably work better in something like Maya or 3dsMax.

I've never seen someone build a model poly by poly in sketchup before.

@muzikmasteruk I am sorry but if i would have recorded in normal speed the file size would have been huge . This screen record is more intended for learning the steps for modeling a car, not necessary to learn sketchup,so,what i would advice you: watch some tutorials so u learn the tools and then u can watch this and know what i use . @seifmostaafakamel The plugins are from sketchucation site,u can visit my site and there,in the forum area is a topic with a link(u have to register on sketchucation ibn order to download them). The wheels are from a car,i downloaded the car and kept only two wheels. Cheers!

@seifmostaafakamel There is only one wheel because it is a separate component. To make it 2 wheels that move together, you must combine them to make the 2 wheels one component. Copy the wheel and make a second one along the same origin. Then select them both, right click, make component, fill in the details you need and click okay. And there you have it. You can also do this with any other component. I hope this helped.

@theofficialstig I haven't followed a design school and at the moment i don t work anywhere but i do freelancing jobs. You should follow some design school and decide what you like or not...working with scketchup is just and addition..going to school will prepare you to develop your imagination and find inspiration from all the stuff that surround you.I can't make a slower version..once u get to know sketchup,you won't need to know exactly what i'm doing because you will do it in your own way.

very nice work!, first time i watched this, i couldnt figure out what you were doing. i watched the sketchup training videos which helped a lot. then i spent some time with sketchup myself.. i managed to get a fender with wheel created.. (just as practice).. i dont have the subdivide and smooth plugin.. i'm assuming it can be done with out the plugin, just takes longer? from watching you, it seems as though keeping your lines and intersections lined up is key?

@SonicSpeedz Yes,it can be done without subdivide&smooth(that is how i was doing them before but in time your taste will ask for more and then is time to move on). Keep the geometry simple and you save yourself a lot of time and effort. Take care and thanks!
