We were lucky to have giants like Pt. Abhisheki and Pt. Ratanjankar among us. What an intricate and yet subtle composition! I am in awe of their creative minds, grateful that one created the rag salag varali while the other composed this song based on that rag. Sounds so nice in her budding voice.

When I started learning comp sci 15 years back .. our teachers said that the ones who were any familiar with computers will have to first unlearn what they had learnt so far & then relearn how to learn.

I remembered that when I saw Rutuja's performance today. It clearly shows her training but doesn't show the class.

She has terrific clarity and quality to her voice. But her sense of intonation is terrible. Many times it felt like she is threatening somebody! And what's with "Mitata"!!
