This Video is Clearly Fake. if you look at the original footage when you look at the original shot where he extends the blade you can clearly see that it is one string with one ring. then when he goes to retract it there are two. if you pause the video at 1:14 you can also see a rubber band holding that is stretched across the blade and when he pulls the second string it retracts it by releasing the lock. If you wanna see a real hidden blade check out ammnra. that guys a genius.

man the secret is easy, one or two springs integrated with the mechanism of the ring, its kinda difficult but when you understand it you will do it :), i don't know how to write the mechanism itself :( with very detail here(english is not my native language) so i will try to make a video(when i bought a camera) but i hope my little tip could help the people who want to make the hidden blabe :) . By the way im not trying to ruin the video but, keep the mechanism as a secret it pretty selfish.

You know instead of changing camera angles all the time and making it dramatic it would be better if you kept yourself in the frame for the entire take so we can deduce that you didn't just swap the springs around while you cut the camera thus making it retractable.
