Probably the most beautiful, touching and sad video I have ever seen about Paul's feelings towards John's death. Definantly hit me hard. I just recently went to NYC and saw where John used to live and died at and The Stawberry Fields and Imagine spots in Central Park to pay tribute to him. Just so sad that he died the way he did but, that goes the same for George Harrison. Such vibrant spirits with such painful, sad ways to go. ;(
You know, I must be in a seriously emotional mood because I don't think I've ever cried quite so hard while watching a video here on youtube. God, these lyrics are so fitting. I think that's what did it. And possibly the way Paul's voice cracked slightly at the beginning. I love the way you put everything together too-- so perfect. :(
@Johnniebird Aww I'm so sorry I made you cry so hard, but I just had to make this video. Glad you liked the way I put the spoken words, song and videos together :) I know it's sad, but I think it portrays the meaning of the words and I think that's how Paul must feel about John's passing.
@chesterlennon Yes, you are absolutely right. You can see how much he still misses John in interviews. It's all there in his voice and on his face. And let's not forget the way he always manages to slip some reference to John in, even when they haven't asked him a John-related question! How could anyone ever say they weren't extremely close is beyond me. Anyway, I didn't mean to blather on! Thanks again for such a wonderful video. :)
@Johnniebird Oh yesss, he's always mentioning John and I love that, he's always present in his life and that's so sweet, it shows what he really meant to him. And don't worry, I love long comments (:
