  • What difference does it make where video was shot at? Maybe he wanted a relaxed setting, geesh, at least he got the info across.

  • Screebl is green, the woods have a greenish backdrop, its logical enough

  • I've been using this forever, had it on my pos mytouch 3g and now use it on my G2x. Has always worked great for me. Thanx dev ...

  • works pretty well,,,but it drains the battery. it uses 31% of my battery..not gud at all.

  • I want to say this is a good idea and you are very well spoken. But I have to agree with melo15813... I why the woods?

  • Why the fuck are you in the woods.

  • Liked a lot the idea of your application, I'm just not sure about the power saving aspect. Won't the monitoring of accelorometer all the time cost more battery life?

  • Hmm... Ima use this app for viewing purposes, but I have a habit of pressing my power button before I sat my phone down, so...

  • What is with the dislikes?

  • Holly shit i have a vibrant and got it off of amazon

  • Awesome vídeo and app. Thanks!

  • Thank you for such a clear explanation of this app. I just downloaded Screebl Pro as part of the free app of the day promotion at Amazon Appstore. I am testing this on my Samsung Vibrant and Nationite Midnite (Wits A81H+)

I like your video and I don't see anything wrong with it. This makes you look more relaxed that some corporate marketing executive. I like how creative you were in marketing this product, while still covering all the main features. This is a very sensible product to use.

  • Great application, I recommend shooting this video elsewhere. Somewhere more professional.

  • Great app and lol @ because you keep turning around before the edits

  • If You Have An Android Phone I Recomend Getting The Amazon App Store For Android!(You Will Have To Download It From The Internet)The Paid App For Free Today Is Screeble Pro!

  • Its a cool app, but why he gotta keep turning around before ever take? Did they go to the forest just to shoot this video? Its not that serious. Its just an app.

  • @keyesdav My guess is that this will actually use quite a bit of battery power constantly checking my phone's orientation. Is it intelligent enough to only poll the sensor at an interval 1-2 seconds shorter than my screen timeout setting (i.e. it checks every 28 seconds if I have my timeout set to 30)?

  • 英語わからない(泣)

  • This video made me nod my head in agreement many times and I've just installed the app. If this increases the usability of my handset I'll buy the $2 version, no question.

  • Sorry!! when i asked the overly-general-silly question of what android phone, i forgot to add..... my budget is £200 - £350, large screen on 2.3 gingerbread.

  • Thanks for thinking of such a simple way of controlling the screen.

  • It's a very good idea!

  • not working , i got screebl lite, what am i doing wrong?!

  • sorry, need help....what would the angles be for a usual phone angle when talking on phone?

  • Thanks this also solved the screen locking on my htc desire during calls

  • Instead of turning off the screen, I would like the option to darken it right down for a few mins (configurable) then turnout screen. Also a real nice to have, instead of turnout, just black screen so that you don't have to unlock the screen. Thanks a bunch this is a great so.

  • Nice nature backdrop to calm the viewers when learning about an app for their phone.

  • @Hexnilium Until you spot some couple shaggin in the bushes.... lol. I have had enough of apple now. Free bumper, your holding it wrong..... i also bought the apple tv....... junk!! Wasted too much money with apple already. What android phone would anyone recommended for migrating from ios.

@keyesdav "Search, gmail, calendar, contacts, picasa, youtube, etc." i use all of these apps in my life, with no additional alternatives. Thanks.

  • Just installed this on my Samsung Galaxy S and loving it.

  • Very nice

  • I love it

  • great idea, can't wait for my desire hd to arrive to try it.

  • Really, pretty cool

  • This app does something that needs to be standard in all mobile phone devices.

I often had to set my screen shutoff timer to 2 minutes or I would have to constantly click the screen, press buttons, etc. to keep the display from either dimming or shutting off.

    Screebl fixes this :)

  • im definitely gonna try this app!

  • I love your app! I've only had it for a few minutes but I get the concept and love your idea! Best thing IMO that I've purchased. Been looking for a solution for this and I'm glad that there's smart folks like you with a solution at hand! Bravo!!

  • Looks great but my only concern is what happens when you just drop it in your pocket while walking does the screen stay on the entire time the phone is in your pocket in the vertical position?

  • Just tap the power button before you drop it into your pocket. I haven't used it long, but I don't think Screebl brings your phone out of hibernation, only prevents it. At least, that's what i think.

  • A very nice idea and it seems to work great. Do you have any measurements on the battery time extension compared to whn not using Screebl?

  • Pretty amazing. You guys are doing incredible things and I cant wait to see how how it all unfolds. Power is in the people again.

  • Pretty cool idea and execution.

  • I can't seem to post comments on your video.

  • Thanks mortenlu. I'm glad that you like the idea. I highly recommend that you get an Android-based device. Particularly if your life involves a lot of Google (Search, gmail, calendar, contacts, picasa, youtube, etc.), it's nicely integrated.

  • Very cool. Will try it... when I get an android :<

  • Hey Tengzelius. Thanks for the feedback. Your suggestion is on the list. I had considered such a feature, but chose not to implement in lieu of other features (limited time). It's in the patent though!

  • How about going further than just turning of the screen? Does the andord have any kind of hibernation mode? The you could make it hibetnate when you hold it upside down. like it would be in your pocket.
