June Clyde was married to Thornton Freeland, who directed a number of movies in the late 30's, including "Flying Down to Rio", the film that started Ginger Rogers' smashing career. Their son, Clyde Freeland, was our very best friend. He sadly passed away with lung cancer seven years ago. We miss him. When I see his mother, June, I understand why.
What a lovely tune!
I was not even close to be on this planet when it was created, but I cannot stop listening to it. Beatiful theme!
Wish they had this kind of music today.
