@automnsoliloquy, you are right on that, but they don't last in the business for long, look they don't even have big movies, do you think they earn big, just by hosting and dancing and a seldom gig? It' like easy money easy go because they invest in their beauties which is expensive. One they have families goodbye showbiz, you are lucky if you are offered a show. Big name like Phillip Salvador, where is he now no movies, another one Paolo Ravales he has no gig nowadays.

@retsahc Asa ka pa? ;) No but really. We're too superficial to appreciate real talent like charice. The filipino concept of real entertainer isn't just talent, it must be the whole package. And unfortunately, for pinoys a real entertainer must look mestizo, half-foreigner and as un-native-looking as possible. The masses can't look past anything else. Sad but true.
