  • A woman's identity is not in her home and family. It's in Christ alone. She is a disciple by learning from Him and doing as He does. If she chooses to get married or have children, she has responsiblities to her husband and children, as does her husband to his wife and children. But motherhood and being a wife is not weaved into her womanhood.

  • She is a woman because she reflects another side of God that men don't -- and this reflection is in her very nature, not in her marriage or family. An unmarried woman is just as good a disciple of Jesus. In fact, she could probably be a better disciple of Jesus staying unmarried so that her priority is on God and His agenda instead of having to be sidetracked by a marriage of two sinners and having to be divided between God and her sinner husband.(1 Corinthians 7:34)
