There's no point mate, it wont do anything. Dump valves vent compressed air. If your honda doesn't have a turbo or supercharger then there's no compressed air to vent.
@jalatesta Best place is from the fuel pressure regulator. That's where the video shows me T-ing off the vacuum line. This line is manifold pressure and will be what your BOV requires.
@chrispix Very much apreciated!! just installed it... but took another vaccum line from the throttle body... will do as you told me... also it gets me a service light... hope it corrects after doing how you did.. thank you!
hi chris, first i want to thank you for uploading these vids..good work..
now my question would be am i wasting my time fitting the plenum chamber, as i dont really want to lose psi, atm im running stage 2 , flow master intake, rec valve,oil res bolt (upgraded) thanks mate.
@nigeya69007 Hi Nige, it kind of felt more responsive but I may have been imagining it. And on the standard turbo I lost 2psi on full boost, but the vxr turbo has bought that back up now :)
I guess there are other factors that also effect what difference it can make. Like I've still got a standard intercooler plus standard air intake and filter. And pipe sizes are all inconsistent.
Hi celly777, I've installed the typical Bailey BOV and have had no problems with it. But note that I have not disabled the standard recirculation valve.
Any bov that says it works on euro cars should be alright. But you are best to use one that you have seen or heard of other people using on their Astra's. That way you know it's been proven to work and you also have people to ask if things go wrong :)
Stupid question I dnt knw much about cars but do u have to have Turbo do that or thts without

can i fit a turbo to my 2.2 sri
angsye 4 months ago
@angsye Probably. Although a supercharger conversion might be better for the 2.2 Might be cheaper to just buy a car that already has a turbo though.

Gayest thing I have ever seen.
Stop rolling around like a tramp and buy a petrol Turbo. VXR should be up your street.

@OUTLAWZ1NATION Thanks mate.
If I was wondering whether to buy the large plenum or not now, I would spend the money elsewhere. It looks good but doesn't add any "go."
Check out this video for a comparison in performance....
