btw are you in the kitchen?, if so I confess that sometimes I make the records in my kitchen as well, maybe because there is some echo, isn't it funny, we are not the only hehehe, anyway congratulations!
Seriously, the Paul Simon original version is beautifully simple . . . also, enjoyed watching your Simon & Garfunkel covers, really excellent. Well done.
I get so tired of people who put up five stars for practically every video on uTube because when a true deserving piece comes up and deserves five stars, it means less over all. This one deserves five stars as all yours do. I know, I know . . that's excessive but you know me. . you're American fan club. :)
Eva had the voice of an angel, and all I've got to offer are these gruff old Scots gutturals! I therefore appreciate your compliments all that much more! :-)
Please excuse my schrecklich German, and my terrible grammar!!
Yes, you do play very well, and I see you also play several 'Peo' tunes...he's an old friend of mine too!
Hey Alan! Your German is really good! Excuse my bad english ;-) Yes, Peos pieces are really great he is the master!
24 for years thats a long time really nice to hear! I like morning has broken too it's a all time classic! Thanks for take a look on my channel I'm glad you like it too!
XD I accidentally had my sound on full blast to the first five note hit me like an explosion oops but the playing is as amazing as always ^^ nice singing voice to very calming.
Sometimes words are useless, what you did here speaks by itself, it's enough just to listen to it, I love it! Eva was special and she had a great talent, same about you. I think, there in Heaven, she's really proud of you! Keep up the wonderful work!
I really wonder what Eva would make of my rough old male voice! :-)
I'm sure she's thinking "Well, at least he's trying". :-) No matter, I'm just grateful for the fantastic work she produced in such a short time; her guitar arrangements are nothing short of astonishing!!! A rare talent indeed. How's the guitar playing coming along? :-)
Nice to hear from you again. Yes, it would have been nice if he'd written more gems like this, although I do think the 'Gracelands' and 'Rhythm of the Saints' albums are both quite superb.
Beautiful job: great expression and technique. Your Fylde has a good sound for fingerstyle as well. The vocals are also quite nice. The only suggestion I would make is to keep the opening phrase and its iterations more in time. Those sections sound a bit hurried. Otherwise, keep up the good work!
Many thanks for your nice words. It's surprising that this piece of music looks and sounds a lot less on screen that it is in reality. Pity. It required a lot of work to write down and then even more to get up to performance level; so much so, that's it's now one of my big favourites! I just wish I had the means to record this Eva version better. Eva certainly was a true genius at re-arranging a song.
beautiful playing on a beautiful guitar :)
