Most of the search was done right. There shouldnt have been any males but they didnt seem to be doing anything sexual. Not ALL the people at the jail went along with this. When the sheriff was trying to sell this story as a out of control drunk woman, the next shift at the jail testified that they could NOT detect any effects of alcohol, or even the smell of alcohol on Steffey.
Its just TOO bad Sheriff Swanson kept covering for the criminal behavior of some of these people!

I called the sheriff's dept May 5th 2008 and they said the missing video would be released during discovery.
A week and a half later they deny that it existed! But the BCI investigation report MENTIONS THIS EXACT SAME PIECE OF VIDEO!
So I called Paul Scarsella and asked for this video. Now Paul says this video doesn't exist, and that the description that Agent Christy S. Palmer made in her report was her "interpretation". Agent Palmer has an "interpretation" for NON-EXISTENT video? AMAZING!

If they need to search her, fine, the police have every right to if someone is suspected of a crime. Mistakes are made, but these processes are what allow us to catch criminals. Maybe if she hadn't resisted as such, there wouldn't have been a problem. This report is from the woman's perspective, that's a pretty ridiculous slant to base opinions on

They edited out the WORST of the video. And a lot of the cops actions (& LIES) were never brought out.
The fact that the cops tried to FRAME the victim for the crime she had reported was never mentioned.
There is a LOT more to this story, and all of it makes the cops look even worse!!!
