the point is you don't really needa turn it off that often. i will buy it and i guess i'll just shut it down every nite n turn it on every morning. that's the real point of 1month standby -- instant on/off from sleeping. otherwise if u still turn it off after every time using it ur really wasting its battery capability, unless u get to touch a power outlet every 30days.

i have read about the iPhone, that you don't have to shut it really down often, because a shutdown and a following reboot will spend more battery the leaving it idle through the night.

its no multimedia player ( too big)

its no laptop (no keyboard)

its just a big ipod touch guys so stoß hyping about this one.

Also it has no flash and you can only use apple apps.

i am waiting for the devices of windows hp and asus =).

By the way he is handling it, it looks heavy, not exactly a device I'd want to hold in my hand for extended periods in some upright position to get a good viewing angle for reading.

Actually, I took my iphone and had the stopwatch app count between the apple logo to the display of the screen. . . I got 16.5 seconds, make it 16 given the human reaction time

if you look at the timestamp it is actually more then 15 sec but just slightly.. iPad rocks! I want it now!
