Unless your performances are consistently compelling and you have a large body of work (and a studio boss who's in your pocket) behind you, being attractive and taking all the flak it gives you seems to be part of the deal if you want to make it and/or you're just starting out, and it will haunt you throughout your career. Like it or not, it's what large audiences want to see on screen because they love escapism, they're not gonna meet and marry you the beautiful actors, but everyone can dream.

@ritzadee Brad was supposed to play the Matt Damon role in "The Departed", but he decided to do "Babel" instead. Quentin Tarantino also wrote the part of Hans Landa in "Inglourious Basterds" with Leo in mind, but decided to go with a native-born German who could speak the proper languages instead. Seems like they're always JUST ABOUT to be in the same movie, but miss at the last second.

I don't know a film with Leo that I didn't like. His part in the Departed had me holding my breath in fear. Romeo and Juliet, I watch often, amazing preformance. Amazing film.

Brad in Kalifornia, fantastic, when he is in the back seat and snorts, that was rich.

I think when Brad sat down at this table, the expeirence began. He should teach the art. Leo has roles where I sink into the character, I don't see Leo. However with Brad I usually see Brad. Both are gifts to film!
