Fantastic! Thanks for posting that. I would like to have seen a clown juggling hedgehogs whilst his second cousin peels an onion on top of a giant cigarette packet at some point, but maybe I'm a bit hard to please.
Anyway, if you enjoy watching hamsters balancing onions, you may also enjoy a site called icrappoetry (.com). Best wishes!
@blearyeyed09 -- i just remembered the WBAI website archives it's shows so anybody that wants to can go there and listen to past shows meaning the show your talking about should be in the archive. Just give them some time to get it archived.
This was a one shot event. The idea was to assemble people who had participated in the chronicles of rock&roll in New York and tell their stories. It took place on a Sunday afternoon at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC and although it was feared that there wouldn't be an audience patient enough to listen to hours and hours of "oral history" it worked a wonder. It was videotaped and will eventually appear on a website dedicated to the subject.
Fugs were one of the original smart bands. Loved 'em.

Shit. He died. Watch him doing his dance on the youtube video of the Fugs doing Crystal Liason from 1967. He is hilarious and the song is fantastic.
Gonna miss that man so much. They broke the mold.

Tuli is pure genius. 84 years old and still relevant. He may be Jesus.

though to my knowledge a war has never been waged in Tuli's name...

That, and I'm fairly sure Tuli got laid at some point.

Was this gorgio gomelsky show shown on a regular basis? When was it on and from where ? Anyone know ?

Tuli looks as if he found his way outside of the dumpstero-junko-slipperysaliva-labyrinth.

was that giorgio gomelski at the top there?

Alas, yes, a journalist pal had promised to
introduce Tuli at this early Sunday afternoon event, but he didn't show up till much later -
probably nursing a hangover - so yours truly
had to jump in. Sort of embarrassing if you're not keen on public speaking :-(! Sorry.

An amazing bit of American Music History. Looks like Tuli has been around the block but hasn't lost his sense of humor!
