  • @mastermac100 mate it doesnt matter how big you are or how much you weigh im 45 kg and i ride 1 of these and i used to have a rm350! the only thing that matters is your riding skill. you get the bike to suit your skill not your weight ot size.

  • @mastermac100

you could fit without lowering it..

  • my 99 rm 125 takes 20 kicks to start and it dont idle

  • @joshwaggoner14 your piolet jet is prob wrong size, also, adjust ur idelscrew, turn it in clockwise all the way( NOT TO TIGHT!) untll u feel resistance, and back it out counterclockwise 1 1/2 turns, this should help,

  • wat song is this?

  • there is no song, unless your talkiing about the muffler music

  • hey man, im loking to buy my first bike this spring, i have exeriance riding bikes, you think a rm 125 is good for a first bike?? im19 165lb and 5.10 hight let me know bud thanks,

  • i had never ridden a bike bigger than a crf 50. i bought an rm 125 as a first real bike. they are a great starter bike and also will give you enough power to keep you going for a while before you need a bigger bike

  • @newt20002 ye, the rm 125 is a amazing bike to start on. good bike for racing aswell. the only problem is (and with all two strokes) is that they are a really expensive to maintain. depending on how hard you ride it and how much. i would start off with a 250 four stroke first mate. i wish i had.

  • hell ya it is a good bike i have one and im 16 and im 6 feet and 150 pounds and its perfect

  • You remind me of my dad because he bought a race bike when he was riding a (little bit) before he bought it.

  • man u all need to rid of ur 95's and get a 98' those fuckers r fast

  • i have a 1996 RM125. and its taller than my brothers 2006 RM250 and my mates 2004 Yz450f

  • cool vid. man! i have a yamaha dt 125cc '86 and my feet dosnt even touch the ground :D

  • i got a 1988 rm 125 and i can be on my tipy toes =)

  • hey i got a 1998 to. have u ever rebuilt it? i just got done doing mine and it rips. it's faster then the stock piston

  • im 5'7'' and im looking to get a 91 rm125. i weigh about 155. too tall?

  • hell no i am 5'9" and i can just touch the floor on a 1999 rm 125

  • get a 250

  • naw man i gott 98' rn and i'm 6' and weigh 150....it's perfect for me

  • Definatly not too tall man im ur height and im a lil short for the bike

  • Idk how tall I am but I can almost stand flat food on my 1995 rm 125 and I am short lol:D its ausome though

  • i have a 94 rm 125 and im 5'9" and im on

    tippy toes also...

  • im 5'9 i just got a 1995 rm 125 and im on tippy toes

  • dude I also got an ausome 1995 rm 125 and it kicks ass:D

  • im 5' 9" and i have trouble standing flat foot on my bike

  • im 5 4 do u think i can fit on a rm125?

  • You should honestly be 5'10 minimum for a bike that size.

  • I'm 5'4 and I have one. I can't stand flat footed on it but I can at least touch one foot to the ground or both toes. If it's too tall you can always soften the suspension a little bit.

  • mototim wtf are you on about i have a 92 rm 125 has a dep exhaust slightly uprated clutch and a fairly new piston my mate has an 07 crf 250 standard except a fmf pipe an i easily keep up with him across the track & the 450 is alot heavier than an old rm with steel frame even the 09 crf is

  • do u think this bike would be too small for me, im 15 and 220 pounds

  • that's like 100kg, you're either real tall or you're a tubby! eeheehee. I'm 5'11 and around 140lb.

My 1993 RM125 seems to be just right for me, not too high not too low but because you're quite heavy maybe a 250cc would be better.

  • im about 6'1 or 6'2

  • get a 250, saves you having to sell a 125 then get another bike once u get bored with the smaller bike.

  • THAT WAIT HELL YAA

  • is this the on on usedottawa

  • Yep, that's the one.

  • i have a 2001

  • Thats a pretty awsesome bike! hopefully ill have one by the end of summer. RM 125s for life!

  • how is the bottom end power on the 91 rm 125? im test road one today and it seems like it has less bottmom end that all other 125s ive riden.

  • Hmm, well I think it's the only 125 I've ridden, but the bottom end is not all that great. Mid-range is pretty good though.

  • yeah, i didnt think that the bottom end was that great either. i just wasnt shure if it was just that one bike that i rode though.

  • i am pretty sure that the older bikes (2 strokes) were louder than the newer ones cuz i have a 92 yz 80 and it seems louder than my buddys 06 yz 85

  • Might be the silencer that needs to be repacked?

  • @7793bcryer My buddys 97 yz80 is sooo quiet, but yeah i think your right, my RM125 is beyond loud

  • thats the bike i have 1991 rm125!!

    i love it!!

  • ya well that sucked

  • awsombike

  • nice. i just got a 95 rm 125 amazing

  • i got a 93 and its fine for me 5/5

  • Yep, nothing wrong with the older bikes.

  • yes there is if i raced that 1 i would look like a complete retard 2 those bikes dont handle jump run and deffinatly dont produce the power of new bike like the 2009 crf450r they are also extremely heavy with that steel frame

  • Well yeah, I wouldn't try to race that thing. But for what I use it for, it's fine. I just ride it on the trails and sometimes go to my friends track.

    You can't really compare a 125 2 stroke to a 450 4 stroke either buddy.

  • you got a really good point. And I compared my bike with a 07 rm and its nearly the same on everything. If I look at the performance it's nearly the same even there. I riding more enduro and things like that with my bike so its perfect for me.

  • well i guaruntee an rm 250 from any year would beat an 09 crf450r

  • u think urs is old?i have an 82 rm125 and it still runs like new nuthin wrong except a couple holes in the exust

  • yeah very nice bike 5/5

  • nice bike enjoy it man.

  • Oh yeah, I'm definitely enjoying it. I got boots now, which helps.
