My choir at LaPorte High School back in the late 70's used to sign this as our closing song every concert. When I moved, they sang it to me before I left. I had never actually heard it since I was always performing it. I balled my eyes out, and still do when I hear it.
What a good enjoyable job the choir leader has. He has the happy and fulfilling job of teaching good groups of fine young people like these how to sing and to do so together. What a blessing for him. RN
My best friend's boyfriend shot himself in the head yesterday killing himself in the parking lot of her apartments. Music is the one and only thing that is a constant in my life. It's what I go to in times of need. This song is what I needed. Thank you.
I love this song. Im in Jekyll and Hyde this year, its fondy's musical. We sing this song every night before our shows. and it just sounds wonderful. so does this.
I am SO glad this hymn was put here where I could listen to it. I am 68 years old and remember it from when our high school choir sang it after every concert. I LOVE IT! and it reminds me of wonderful times!
seems your directer has you starting off at a higher pitch and a slower tempo... kinda drags on but regardless I love this piece. Been singing it for 3 years, going to perform it two more times before I graduate, once at my graduation. I will be in tears....
my high school choir used to sing this after every concert. choir alumni in the audience were invited to join... until we got a new director who decided to end the tradition =[
I remember singing this in my church choir after the pastor's benediction. We haven't done it in years and I was just thinking about this again. Your rendition moved me to tears. Thank you so much for this.
Where did this hymn go? It is The Way. It is beautiful. And yet it has been stripped from our churches for years now.
This simply beautiful. Sung with such youthful sincerity. The Way. Gracious. Unto you. The Lord be gracious unto all of us.
Thank you for posting this.

I love this song. Nicely done but too slow. That's not cause of the singers, but thier director.
